Honestly, I liked Livingstone

Liked past tense

Dude did not handle things the right way on the way out and may end up a Sooner. F that.

Haven’t had time to check in too much lately. Any updates on the Florida RB or the Auburn WR?

Catches. My bad. And I think he had 51 targets.

I agree. There is no reason to revise history. He is pretty talented and will only get better.

Exactly. Dude reportedly was one of our fastest receivers coming in and he didnt have trouble getting sep on the field. Let's not act like he didnt have talent. He had his shortcomings but he had talent.

Players that are widely known not to be returning (NFL or transfer) are in italics. There will be many more leaving, but I'll let that play out. The starters and rotational guys will change quite a bit after portal season. I couldn't bring myself to color code an entire 2-deep since we have so many shitty options. We need need a lot of portal help.

There's a legend at the bottom that explains the abbreviations after a player's name:

RS - Used a redshirt
WO - Walk-on
EE - Early enrollee
TR - Transfer
BS - Blue shirt

I haven't seen a reliable list of early enrollees for 2026 yet, so that will need to be updated. I also updated the Texas by Class and Texas Grid tabs.

Still need to add the 2026 class to the Aggie Grid tab, but the players with no more eligibility have been removed and redshirt status has been updated. Concepcion will be declaring for the NFL. Bisontis, Ricks, and York have been mentioned as possibly declaring for NFL as well.

Bumping for folks that want to review transfer updates to roster

I love the idea that he’s not fast and had no NFL future. Our fans, at least here, are sometimes very off. Having said all that, the kid appears to be a problem, and he is probably replaceable.

Once Mosley was healthy he was our most reliable receiver. Wingo and Moore had lots of drops and boneheaded plays. At least Wingo can run after catch like a beast so if we get him an easy pass he’s got the ability to get away. Moore best quality was getting open on scrambles I guess.

Lockett looked great, he should probably have played a lot more in the slot.

Sark doesn’t do rotations, and Livingstone probably saw he wasn’t going to just automatically start over Mosley. So his agent asked for a ridiculous number so he could act butthurt on the way out.

If he goes to Oklahoma we are going to snap him in half in the RRS.

i think i will take that bet. I would bet he is losses to Moore and Wingo in a race. He is a P4 WR. I do not think people are questioning that. There is some talent there, but his biggest issue is he lacks an elite trait. Struggles to get open in the first 10 yards. He is a bit of a long strider, probably why he ran the 200 and 400m in HS. Not particularly quick. Good speed, but not a guy that can consistently run by DBs. Takes him a bit to get to top speed. Good at tracking the football. The hands are what cost him money this year. He was better than most Texas WRs at making contested catches (that is not a high bar) but I still doubt he caught 50% of the 50/50 throws. If you assume Texas gets Cam Coleman, he probably has limited role in next year's offense. They are both similar type of X WRs. You also have Lockett in that role.

Now Livingstone was below average because we don't like him anymore. Keep in mind as a freshman he had 516 yards and 6 TDs on only 29 targets. He had drops for sure but he wasn't chopped liver. We are going to get somebody out of the portal older than him with his exact stats and talk about it being a solid pickup. I hate the portal sometimes. Ughh. Also, when all of your receivers are dropping the ball you might wanna look at why. Targeting a little off? Ball being rifled at short distances? We need to catch the ball but we also need the ball to be more catchable.

Regarding drops, please keep in mind what Arch was throwing early in the season. I doubt if many of us could have caught those balls.

Thanks @AP101S

Some clarification on the tabs:

2026-AP101S - Current roster with those in the portal removed (unless there are discussions about returning, such as Derek Williams).

Texas Grid - Roster sorted by their original signing year. Their 247 composite rating appears below their name. If they were a transfer, then their transfer rating is used instead of their HS rating. It includes all the incoming and outgoing portals so we can see the churn. Players that have eligibility remaining but have declared for the NFL draft are also highlighted. This will get updated to just the final roster after Spring practices.

Texas by Class - Every signee since 2017, sorted by signing year. It includes their status so you can where they ended up (NFL, transfer, graduated but not NFL, etc.).

There are also Aggie by Class and Aggie Grid tabs.

Let's see now - Brown back to LV, Baugh back to FL, Wisner gone, Livingstone gone and still not a single fucking OL signed. Yippee!!

Wisner hurts worse than Livingstone, there's depth at WR and I have a feeling the Fresh will step up. If Sark can't get a difference maker at RB I still think we'll be OK there. But WTF, Campbell gone, not a single OL signed at the by far #1 most important need. You have to wonder WTF is going on. Is Sark trying to become Herman?

Look. I don't pretend to know what he ran. All I know is what he put on tape. He was open when we targeted him. 80% of the time he was on the field he was just out there to run off defensive backs and create space for who Sark wanted the ball to go to. So you can see him running 1/2 speed knowing it's not coming his way, and true to that, Arch never looked his direction. For example, he was targeted 3 times vs Aggy. He was open all 3 times. Two of those were not caught. I will let you judge where the ball was thrown whether or not they should've been. Keep in mind that these are part of his "drops".

I have All 22 of the offense vs Ohio State, Kentucky, MSU, Pig, Georgia, Vandy, and Aggy. That's pretty much consistent in every game. You are more than welcome to the film if you wanna take a look. That's why I get so irritated at the way Sark runs his offense. We bury guys in the rotations and progressions and keep them there, even when the other dudes aren't playing well. Imo, a better ball on the two "drops" and Parker finishes the game with 3 for 60-70 or so. McCutcheon same thing. Just out there being a decoy and running off DBs for the other guys.

Wtf exactly is Sark doing? Maybe he needs to become OC and hire himself a headcoach

Michigan game he dropped a perfect ball. Even the brain dead commentator pointed it out. That said, no one confused Livingstone with Deon Sanders. He better learn to go back the ball because Mateer has a noodle arm.

First one is on him. Sloppy route (rounded that off) and no idea why the hell he is jumping backwards on that at the end. Have to attack that ball. He created space for the DB to make a play on the ball. Solid throw by Arch with pressure in his face.

2nd one is just a fake screen. Good job by Arch to just get that pass off. Ball is not on target, but expecte with that much pressure.

3rd is just a simple hole in the zone. Play call put 27 in conflict, he did not get his proper drop and focused on the short route. Ball is fine.

He wants the TITLE OF HC (a position he is pretty much had overall for about 13 years) and he wants the salary and recognition and accolades of being called a HC and a play caller BUT he is trying something new this year, this is the closest we are likely to get to him hiring an OC. He doesn’t want to deal with the defense (in my opinion that’s just a glorified Co-HC or OC but whatever) he kept his buddies on staff (some of whom couldn’t be a water boy on Indiana’s staff) and he hired his first choice Muschamp to be a second HC on the field so he doesn’t have to listen to the Headset on defense and can focus solely on offense. Portal ain’t closed yet and we obviously need to FoCUS on our fucking Oline and having a RB that can routinely get 100 yds per game (something we had only one RB who is gone do ONE time at the end of the regular season against Aggy) I’m not pissed but grabbing shiny weapons in the portal won’t mean dick if we don’t shore up the shit Oline which has been a problem for 3 years. Is there a “Flood what would you say you do here?” Thread bc it needs to happen. Not sure what the fuck we are going. But patience man. Patience, portal still open but if we don’t get some fucking dudes on Oline damn.

Ball was thrown behind him on the first one giving the DB a chance to break it up. How, in any world of football, can you blame that on the receiver? Wow. Ball should be thrown to the sideline. Receiver could've attacked it better but that was 100% an off throw. 2nd one if Arch puts that anywhere but on his feet he has 10 more yards, maybe more depending on blocking.

Just look at the route. Do you think an out route should look like that? That is the definition of a banana out route. He cuts at what the 49/48, stops at the 44, and jumps back to the 43. Without that jump back it might be a PI or a catch, not sure why he did that. That is not good WR play. Yes, it is little behind based on a sloppy route, but that is not a bad pass from a QB that gets knocked on his ass on the attempt. Kind of what we saw most of the year, WRs not helping the QB

It is not a drop if it is bad pass. You can only drop catchable passes.

I think Kyle Flood needs to get off his ass and call @Nicole44 direct and tell her WTF is going on!

We might be heading into the area of having to sacrifice a Surly Virgin. This is getting to be pretty redamndiculous!

Bro, there was nothing the receiver did or did not do that was going to stop the DB from getting to that ball by where it was located. I get the receiver didn't run the crispest route, but come on bro. Location was off. It's okay to say "Arch threw a bad ball". It's not going to hurt you. He threw plenty of good balls later.

But we are getting away from the point, which is he gets open easily on his targets. We just didn't really target him.

My goal in 2026 is not to argue with you as much. So I concede the ball location part of the discussion.

Btw, I really like you as a poster, you're very informed and cool, and I don't want this to come off as me being an asshole. This is just how I personally view the situation regarding Parker.

No, he was below average because he dropped 8 fucking passes this season, not because he's leaving. There are people on here who think Wingo is below average for drops, and even Moore, who had a total of 6 in two seasons, but at least Wingo as elite traits. What does Parker have, again? 8 dropped passes in his first season after a RS. You would think he would, you know, have used that RS year to learn not to drop passes from his own fucking roommate. Did you happen to miss the Michigan game?

I don't have anything against the dude. I don't care that he's going to ou. He won't get better there, either. As far as I'm concerned Lockett will be the better player due to him also having elite traits, like hands that work and speed, and route running. Parker is just OK, he's nothing we should be whining over losing. I'm sure he's a great kid, but being a great kid doesn't make him a great football player. I get it, we have Parker homers on here that are upset he's leaving; I don't know why, tbh? He did good for a kid who had a RS year, but 8 dropped passes is 8 dropped passes for someone who people, for some reason, thought would be the next Shipley or some shit. He's OK, he's neither good or shitty, just ok. Mid, even. Not some kind of game changer that we need. We (Sark; Milwee) keep recruiting guys who clearly aren't ready to contribute against their peers. His best TD came against Ohio State, then he scored against the dregs like Arky, Miss St, and SJSU. He got shut down against Aggy, UGA, Michigan, Vandy, ou. This is all after the FL game where we were getting better, and yet he was carrying 2 passes for 20-29 yards. That's it. As much as we shit on Wingo, he at least caught 5+ psses against UGA, Michigan, ou...you know, against his peers.

Both have shit hands, but one is clearly better than the other without the benefit of a RS.

Texas tried to recruit this guy out of high school.

He could still declare for the draft.
