Not allowed to possess the ball with your knees, apparently

I get that, I guess, but it sure looked like his hand got down there too.

Lol, Mack Brown with the shot at A&M. "We beat them 10 of 14 years and nobody cared because we were expected to do that."

If ND loses the playoff picture gets real interesting real quick.

Zoey Tur?

I also think, and not just in relation to this game, that it is being ruined by the frame-by-frame-by-frame reviews.

I thought SC would win this one from the beginning of the season let's see if they can pull it off and spoil it for the domers.

I just keep going back to the Pitt @ Notre Dame game and how Pitt had them, but for a completely anemic passing game and a pair of missed field goals. I think USC can beat them, but can't turn over the ball like they have. It is amazing that USC refuses to, or is unable to, run the ball.

The ND safety led with the crown of his helmet. That got Joey Bosa ejected from the Fiesta Bowl against ND a few years ago.

I thought that too. Textbook Herbie.

A loss to an unranked team in November and no CCG (aka the 13th data point) should eliminate them from consideration.

Both of these teams fucking suck.

Notre Dame's best win is Michigan (who was exposed today). Their second best win is Syracuse when Dungey was injured for 2/3 of the game. Their third best win is either Pitt or Northwestern (lol)

Great job to have some misdirection and attack the edge. Also lol at the V down

Notre Dame does not "fucking suck"

Please

They are going to get buttfucked by Clemson if that is where they are seeded. Or Bama. I am hoping to get Michigan and ND eliminated today. I knew Michigan would lose to Ohio St. But I don't have much faith in USC beating ND tonight. They flat out suck.

I just would rather get another team in there who could actually compete with Bama or Clemson. But maybe there aren't many teams out there who can.

That should do it. The nickel never saw the RB and the safety slipped, good-bye.

USC's blown this like they blew the 14-0 lead vs. UCLA.

Fuck Notre Dame. They are as big of frauds as Michigan was and would be exposed if they actually played someone worth a damn. Wack ass Big 10 type team.

Don't USC receivers know where the first down marker is located? They keep running back.

it's very annoying. They are making subtle mistakes, like that and ball security, that are very costly.

on a bigger question, there's a science behind running routes, it's very fascinating to me. How do they know where the route is supposed to break, regardless of LOS?

Yeah we get it you don't like Notre Dame. They are still 11-0. It's not like they're playing in the MWC.

'What was the call by the officials? Now I will tell you why it was correct.'

Too many announcers take that approach.

23-minutes to 14 in time of possession

356 to 283 yards

6 to 1 in penalties

2 to 0 in turnovers

USC is giving away this game.

Uniform foul.

Half of the USC team has maroon socks on  and half Are wearing white socks.

Fowler’s announcing style is annoying.

SLANT!

Also, the fact Notre Dame does not play in a conference but still gets to go to the playoffs is bullshit. They don't have that extra game all the others have to play. Well unless you are Bama, whom isn't required to even win their division. But the NCAA will never make them join one for football.

That is an incomplete pass. If they reviewed that one in the first half and said it was incomplete this one is even more incomplete.

so you were thinking that a couple hours ago when you said this is the best Notre Dame team in 25 years?

their only "good" win was Michigan

Those are not mutually exclusive. I thought this was a dangerous game on ND's schedule and it is proving to be just that.

I also thought USC would be more like an 8 or 9 win team - not a 5 win one.

Exactly. They are frauds. They will be exposed in the playoffs but it sucks because the game will be a worthless blowout. Same as when Washington made it a few years ago. Or ND in 2012.

Cool defense USC. Had him for about a 10 yard loss and you let him squirm back to the LOS.
