I keep hearing about how Wingo is elite in space. I have yet to see him be elite with the ball in space vs Ohio State and Georgia. You know, when we need him to be. What I saw was a guy who couldn't win against physical defense, falling with the slightest contact, dropping balls, and tripping on his own feet. I see a guy with a shit ton of potential but very little productivity. I'm mad at Wingo because he doesn't do anything we can rely on against quality competition. Again, we lost 3 WR's and 3 RB's. The powers that be would like you to believe it's a money thing. Meanwhile we run the same two back and 3-4 receivers all season barring injury. If you are outside of that you don't play. But yeah, it's about the money.

That's a little surprising considering nickel (ie Littleton) was one of the bright spots of the defense this year

Right or wrong, Texas probably feels like they have plethora of solid P4 starters in that room (and coming in the portal) and they see more upside in some of the younger guys. Just a guess. There's only so many balls to go around. Even if you wanted to money whip all of them into staying, a room full of talented receivers who aren't getting any snaps won't turn out well. PL has done enough this year to be a starter somewhere, I don't blame him for wanting to go that route if the coaches are telling him he's ~6 on the depth chart at Texas (which is about where he'd be if we get a WR1 in the portal and Wingo comes back).

Clark was completely different in the bowl game. Roberson knocked himself out laying the wood.

Rest in Peace- Laid my parents to rest in the Gulf of Mexico today
well and the fishing. shallow waters with the marshes and wetlands are easy to get lost in and there can be no one for many miles if you find the right places. pacific is easy to get lost in too, but it's lost in the sunset and the expansive never ending water headed west. brisket's dad was well on to something choosing the Texas coast.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
On here? He’s the industry ranked number 1 prospect in the portal.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
And then taunt aggy (if we sign him).- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
Both can be true - Coleman has way better ball skills than Wingo (downfield, 50/50 balls, etc) but is also prone to easy drops. The stats I reflected, and the eye test, point to both of those things. Like CTJ said, no one with a brain is saying we don't want him, just that his pedestal might be a little high on here.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
He was playing with a broken hand. OU rushed him back to play against us instead of letting it heal.- Laid my parents to rest in the Gulf of Mexico today
Familiar with both the pacific and the gulf. There’s an ease about being by the gulf. Water is warm, big sandbar, island life- For anyone thay wants more than a 4-team playoff
gruden's plan is the best I've heard so far - conf champ games matter, both teams are in the playoffs, the rest are in a play in round. reseed after that and get going. I like the bowls, keep them, but do as much as you can at higher seed home fields so that includes play in games. play offs basically start first week of Dec. and forget the down time, play every weekend until it's done.- Texas Roster 2026

On Colemans' highlight reel, most of his first few are contested catches going high up in the air to get the ball. I think Wingo had 1 catch where he went high to get it, and it was uncontested with no one anywhere close to him. I don't think Wingo even knew that going up to get the ball was allowed until he saw Arch do it. He may be the fastest runner on the team, but nowhere close to being a great receiver.
