  1. Past hour
  2. I never said I assumed shit. You and I have no idea what the numbers are like. All I'm saying is that unless you're willing to pay for Coleman yourself, the analysis is a lot more nuanced than "go get him at all costs"
  3. Please let Reed go and replace him with Lagway. Please, please, please.
  4. Throwing a big bag at Lagway seems very Aggie. Raiola would also be pretty funny, he can start cosplaying as Manziel instead of Mahomes.
  5. One of these is Bert Auburn, the other is the Memphis kicker.
  6. I'm at the Rice / Texas State bowl game. If we need a punter the Rice punter has a huge leg. He just booted it 60+ yards and put is out at the 10. Someone with a burnt orange shirt was on the sidelines taking pictures of him.
  7. Of course he played well for the vikes. I intentionally didn't mention the vikes because they weren't needed for my point. All I needed to contrast his desire to play hard were the 2 stops after the vikes-- the Raiders and the Patriots.
  8. Travel more. I love travel, but have not been doing it as much the past couple of years. I’ve developed an artificial anxiety about taking too much time away from work, which is stupid. My wife keeps saying that a hefty retirement account won’t mean anything if one or both of us aren’t around, or healthy enough, to use it on travel. Even if it’s not a week in some far off destination halfway around the globe, I need to work in more long weekends about once a quarter, and realize the years ahead of me are not given.
  9. You could have seen it coming.
  10. Elvis replied to RPM's topic in Lulz
Norm is my answer. Suprised no one has mentioned Farley. Espescially from this generation of assholes on this site. Hartman is way up there. When you add up The Simpsons, News Radio, SNL, and movies, he probably has the most material out there. I guess that's more acting if he didn't write it, but he probably wrote it too. I don't know.
  11. From what Bobby is saying, I don’t think you should just pencil in Mosley at WR3. They are talking as if we are going for 2 WRs in the portal to start to pair with Wingo.
  12. People get shoe-string tackled all the time, especially when moving fast or in the act of accelerating, because it's easy to get tripped up, especially if one leg or foot gets deflected into the other. Not going to argue he runs through tackles, but that's a piss poor example to use.
  13. You think Indiana is going to trot out 2 "coach-on-th-field" WR's next year? Hopefully Charlie Becker isn't afraid of a little competition.
  14. and this, in addition to any real "cap" on NIL. Nobody wants it solved for real. They just can't figure out how to maintain exclusivity either.
  15. Then what do you do with the tied teams that got to sit home that week comfortable in their CFP spot? UGA would have destroyed aggy in the SECCG but got to avoid it because of tiebreakers. The system is completely fucked and CCGs are entirely pointless.
  16. Why are you assuming we can’t get a stud WR like Coleman and 3 great iOL? Interior guards are not going to cost you a mil. We already have premium positions like QB, LT (assuming Goosby is coming back), Edge locked up. Guys leaving like Hill, Baxter, Moore, Manny are going to free up a lot of capital. Bobby has repeatedly said that the staff is looking to win a championship next season and that if we land a guy like Coleman to not assume we won’t be looking to get other high caliber players. I don’t think they’ve invested this much in building the core pieces in Arch, Simmons, Goosby to now penny pinch. Sounds like we are going push all our chips in the pile for next year. If that means Sark and Cooper Manning need to make a few calls to stroke the egos of a few donors to get another few mil to get these guys to build around Arch and Simmons, then that is not an unrealistic reality. We are maybe the best situated between donors and corporate NIL to fundraise with a Manning at QB.
  17. He also had our only touchdown. But clearly he is the problem against Georgia.
  18. Pregame started off strong
  19. I know, I posted about it earlier. He seems like Bert Auburn but with distance.
