San Antonio Spurs 2024-25 - Taking it in the pooper for Cooper

I’ll take it -
Nico won’t draft a white boy. He’s gonna swap with the Spurs.

Diving into dookie to own the libs!

His actions were in two different games. He could have subtly said something to the barely out of high school freshman. There was a tad “look at me” in his actions. But that’s fine. Had he ended it there. But the next day after his homer, he mocked the crowd and the Horns in rounding 2nd base. I’m not sure there was necessarily anything intense in the moment that he was responding to at the time. All this from a 3rd year player. On a team that trails by what 7 games.

The Spurs would have been worse but this sucks. There were two teams I wouldn’t have bought a Flagg jersey for and they are picking 1 and 2. -
Just as you hear Boomers talk about where they were when they heard the JFK news, I remember where I was on that May evening in 2003 when the Cavs won the lottery. I remember more details about that night than I do the birth of my kids.

The problem is Harper doesn’t really fit with Fox and Castle. Bailey is a chucker that overlaps Vassell and Johnson. Kind of the same with Tre and VJ. That’s why the Giannis trade makes the most sense. -
NICO: "How ya like me now, I got you a new, physically fit white boy"

Flagg actually fits the Spurs roster better than the Mavs. Just saying. -
Imagine not winning 20 games and not even getting a top 3 pick
-
It was back to back Oh shit that's right. They got it again right after AD left too LOL
-
Agreed. Blow it up now and re-tool with younger players to match your shiny new #1. They'll be lucky to get the play-in next year anyways.
-
That 2011 pick was crazy - it was actually the Clippers pick that the Cavs got in the Baron Davis deal.
-
Y'all kept posting this enough I broke down and ordered it. The mizzou sweep convinced me it was worth it.

Cleveland getting Bron. Thorn getting first pick

Dylan Harper, Tre Johnson or Giannis Antetokounmpo -
Sorry for the late reply... this is the best resource I've found for hikes in the Seattle area. You can dial in the distance and elevation and "sights"... If you've got the ability to get out of town, I'd suggest driving north- it's a bit further from Queen Anne, but the hikes off of the Mountain Loop highway are really tremendous. Wallace Falls has a lot of options for different loops/experiences, the Bridal Veil trail (you can keep going to Lake Serene if you want to see snow) is nice (but go early- parking lot fills up), and Heybrook Lookout is a good two mile-ish round trip to an old fire tower. Out towards North Bend (with Little Si/Rattlesnake) you could also do Franklin Falls (really easy hike), Snoqualmie Middle Fork (awesome bridge), the John Wayne Trail Tunnel (bring a flashlight), or Snow Lake.

I don't know if Dallas would do this or what their end goal is but I would gut the team - trade AD (if you can) to the worst team offering an protected 2026 pick, tank next season, and then set yourself for another run in the lottery in a loaded 2026 draft (3 potential franchise players available next June - Cam Boozer, AJ Dybantsa, and Darryn Peterson).
-
Kentucky was just leaning in to them. When did they change the rule that you no longer had to make an effort to get out of the way?

Executive Orders that do something good get delayed for years before dying. Executive Orders that do bad stuff get enacted immediately and stay in effect for years while being appealed.

He's too white for Nico

Duhaime for the Caps basically gives up the goal, then gets decked in the celebration.
