Liz Cheney 2.0? Good to see her fighting within her party but she’s still a Republican through and through and I’d breakout the s’mores kit if she were on fire. -
Nice to see Flood changing things up. Elkins has good feet for the position and longer arms will be a plus when he is called on to pull block the D-gap.

That’s generous. You should make me send it to crimson and cream or something.

Speaking of different eras, “Show me a good loser and I’ll show you a loser.” That was Lombardi, I believe. What we are seeing now is the evolution of Sport in real time, with all things being recorded and published at all times. Tonight ABC didn’t even show whether KDB shook hands with Jawbone With A Cap after our game. Methhead looking Motherfucker.

We’re gonna have a ton of kids portal out and sark will rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic with new corches and new portal players all over the field for his last season. Can’t wait.

Amari niblack Was at bama, then texas now a&m. They are 1099 contractors. Can u imagine something like that 6-7 years ago. It's a job to them. We alums and other fans are emotionally vested in the team and university. With this being the nfl minors now, sooner they get to Austin team sponsored by university of texas, the better

Sark had been pretty good about keeping scores close in losses, even when we got dominated. That came crashing down last night. Maybe that’s what was needed to keep from fooling themselves about the fundamental deficiencies this team has. -

Yeah, it wasn’t from lack of success when we attempted it. In fairness, they had gotten it to 14-10 and might have run it more in the 4th quarter but when the defense gave up the long drive followed by the onside recovery and subsequent score, it’s 28-10 with 8:53 left in the game and the running game goes out the window at that point. -

10 carries for 40 yards for the backs. I thought Wisner hit a few things pretty well, but he finished with 9 carries. Arch threw 43 times. Sark is a goofball.

With one exception, my dad did not cook when I was younger. That exception- every Friday night he would make brownies out of a box- add egg, oil , water. And we would watch “Dallas”. Everyone but my mom, who was disgusted by anything having to do with the show. My dad absolutely loved it though. Landman makes me think of him.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
TexasExe14 replied to Wulaw Horn's topic in Football
And we haven’t all season. That’s why this thread always made me lol. At the beginning of the year we were low key worried we wouldn’t make a bowl game and that same team doesn’t turn into a playoff contender. I know both are extreme examples of this team, point being we just aren’t good enough this year. I always thought we were gonna get blown out, this Texas team was way better last year and couldn’t do it with 2 tries. Last year’s defense was something that’ll be hard to Reach again, that’s how good they were. When it was 14–10 I was surprised and actually had a little hope. Then the wheels fell off as expected. This is who we have been all season, it was exposed more when we played a well coach team. I know I shouldn’t be, because we’re Texas and all but I’m fine with 9-3 if we beat both our rivals this year. Literally, first half of the season arch couldnt hit a wide open guy 2 ft away and we couldn’t even run for 2 yards. Yes, disappointing with NIL and all the talent but we could easily look like LSU, Clemson right now with the way the season started. Next year if we don’t make the playoffs and look the same then I’ll riot. -

With Akina coming in, I'd hoped to see tight man coverage in the secondary this year, despite the loss of two monster talents to the draft. The mistakes too often made back there have disappointed me more than our OL play or anything else out on the field. Guilbeau isn't fast enough and clearly has been targeted, but Muhammad also has given up some big plays I don't feel a top CB should. And sadly, in some cases we've had such poor coverage I can't even tell you which DB was at fault for not covering well. Listen, losing to Georgia is easy to do. They're trouble for anyone not named Bama, and Sanford is a mighty tough venue for opponents. But a blueblood accustomed to playing in front of a lot of rival fans can't waltz out there and drop passes and draw flags, several of them huge in terms of possession and/or field position. We might have lost anyway, given how both teams typically play in the second half, but those early mistakes put us in a much deeper hole than we faced in the SEC title game. Anyone who thinks Arch should have been able to save us from all our glitches wasn't watching closely. He delivered some phenomenal balls to guys who were well covered. Still, I'm puzzled why we aren't moving the pocket more to take advantage of his legs. If you're going to have him drop back and read while being a sitting duck for a great D, you're basically reliving the Quinn days we all looked forward to moving past. Georgia won in part because it used Stockton closer to the way in which we should Arch.

We weren't beating that Michigan team that man handled the same Washington team that made us look special needs. That Michigan team would have pushed our defense around and bodied our offense. It would have been nice to at least make the NC game, tho. But the notion we could have won is silly message board moronity. -
Washington was out there a ton. Some of you just make shit up.
