  1. Past hour
  2. I'd love to see Sark and team treat this as the most fun game a team can play in. Big audience on NYE, against a blue blood (in-name), and the last true football before next spring. Use as many trick / gadget plays as possible. Let players draw up some plays. Let Niblett play some QB. Put Simmons at RB for a few plays if he wants to. Let Hero return a few kicks. If he can work in some elements of "we started playing the game because it is just fun" alongside making sure no one gets hurt, that could be fun to watch.
  3. I may be late on this but I heard that Simmons was offered an obscene amount of money from Miami to leave Texas and he's gonna stay but we had to pay a lot more for him as a result. We need a cap or some more controls on tampering and longer term commitments.
  4. Kinda weird who does and doesn't get their patience and professionalism.
  5. I hope he gets a chance and blows the doors off at another school. He’s fucking OWNED AGGY and Gooners the past 2 seasons. Woooooof. That’s WWWAAAYYY too much
  6. The ideal scenario is Arch plying the first half during which we beat up on a Michigan team in utter disarray, and we see KJ Lacey in the second half.
  7. $2k/yard is a lot.
  8. Why is he leaving? He was our best rb for the last two years
  9. I feel like this has to mean we are getting Baugh or someone like that. Just another position to replace on the “all in” year. No big deal.
  10. Yeah well, welcome to the business of college football.
  11. Wrong. The point is to win a championship. This game is not involved with winning a championship. It is an opportuntiy to get hurt in a game that means nothing. Playing Arch in this game is on the same tier of hubris as not cancelling our difficult OOC games. We are actively doing things that hurt our ability to achieve what should be our primary goal.
  12. His advisors should remind him that’s exactly what happened to him his senior year in high school. That worked out well for him in the long run. But of course advisors don’t give two shits about the long run
  13. I tend to agree with this... being a longhorn legend that killed the aggies and sooners would've been worth more to him through our alumni/donor networking opportunities long term than whatever 1 year pay day he might get from another school before he goes pro.
  14. Let me tell you, I am already so excited next year to hear how many positions we are replacing…every.single.game.
  15. A semi connected buddy of mine says to expect more bad press for UM soon. He refuses to elaborate, so I’m passing it irritation at him onto you assholes.
  16. It’s is when you consider we also have 3 other RBs leaving. I’m not sure we have any positive rushing yards returning for ‘26.
  17. Passing on guys asking for the bag that aren’t worth the bag is a good thing as long as the bag makes it to an upgrade before the music stops playing
  18. Not for the money he was asking.
  19. Texas 6A is probably harder to win than the ACC.
  20. For some reason, I don’t think this is it. It’s either pure money or is tired of running behind a flood line for 3 yards and a cloud of dust or we got Baugh
