If only the time since aggie's move to the SEC matters, because of program development, let's look at their performance during that stretch. Zero national titles. Zero conference titles. Zero playoff wins. Every game played against Texas has been a double-digit loss. Only an aggie would pound their chest about a colossal disappointment like this.
Re: Alonso, this is pretty cool. Seems like he still belongs in F1 to me ... In Wet Qualys in the Ground-Effect Era, only one driver featured in every Q3 Q3 appearences list: ALO: 10/10 VER: 9/10 NOR: 9/10 SAI: 9/10 LEC: 8/10 RUS: 8/10 HAM: 6/10 PER: 6/9 PIA: 5/5 OCO: 5/10
My point is that Sark got WM to control defense - greatness after all the work PK did - next level WM. I think we are hindered by Flood at this point and Sark needs to break that, friendship or not. We have 4+ years of evidence that he is no longer elite on recruiting talent or developing them as we need for a championship. 3* projects aren't going to get us a title. That's just a fact. The reason after having 4 years for Flood to get a next OL in place is disturbing. Most likely Arch's final year - that means a new QB after him. And we don't after 4 years of Flood have a plan... Yes, we will portal hard on things but Flood is an issue on this. Our Ol should have been better period. Shouldn't take half a season to figure it out. I love my Longhorns - under and grad there and suffered through some bad time while in school (football). I just think Flood should be upgraded and I think history shows why for that salary. I'd have fired him 3rd year tbh.
Here's some Lainie Fritz to commemorate the occasion. For those that don't know she is Willie's rude daughter and was formerly a Houston Channel 2 sports reporter
