  1. Yes, and they are horrible.
  2. Bobby was arrested in Lubbock for solicitation of a prostitute. Judge asked him what he was doing, he replied "Judge you bait a trap with pussy you're going to get ole Bobby every time"
  3. When I saw Aledo was getting sued I thought for sure it was going to be for recruiting football players.
  4. Headed back to TCH for the plo tournament, end up chopping when we got to 4, made $150. Cashed 4 of last 6 weeks. Sat down at hold em with bomb pots. First hand is a bomb pot and I scoop with boat/boat. Piss off over a hundred playing hold em and we get to another bomb pot. Boards are AQ7 and 885. I look at my hand and the first two cards are AA, don’t even look at the other two and pot it, get 5 callers. Turns come Q and 4, I pot, get repotted and 4 of us are all in. Rivers are bricks and I turn over my hand and announce ace high boat on top, don’t look at my other 2 cards, dealer announces he has Aces and queens boat on top, eights and fives boat on bottom. Oops. Didn’t matter, would not have played out any different. Another player had 85 so I only got 3/4. Two hands later I get called up to the bomb pot only table so once again hit and run the shit out of the hold em table. Get to the bomb pot table and first hand I get Ks6sTh5h. Flop has 2 spades on top and JT6 on bottom. Guy to my right had potted blind before the board was shown, I call his $40, folds around to crazy Asian I’ve known for a long time, he jams, saying I don’t have shit but it’s better than some random blind hand, guy to my right re-pots. I figure fuck it, I bought in with winnings from other table, call, Asian calls. Spade comes on top board, 8 on bottom, bricks on river. Asian has Qs9s, other guy has Q9. My K high flush wins the top, they chop the bottom. 8 doesn’t come I scoop.
  5. Sat down at the $1-2 NLHE on Monday at TCH waiting for my seat at PLO bomb pot table. First hand UTG raises $10, I look at A7 offsuit and fold. Flop is As7s3 and I'm kicking myself as UTG bets $30 and 4 call Turn is 10s. UTG bets is $50 and 3 call. River 6c. UTG All in for around $200, call, call. UTG shows 5h4d, other two muck Maybe I'm to jaded from playing PLO and BigO but WTF ARE YOU CALLING $200 with on a flush and strait board if you can't beat a strait!?! Pat myself on back for folding preflop. I play pretty tight, raising $15 preflop with TT and taking it down after i bet $25 into an AQ3 flop. Maybe play 2-3 other hands, nothing past the flop. Once a round they play a PLO bomb pot. I look down at TT83 and think "once again total garbage like every previous bomb pot". Flop T82 and 962. Bet out $25 and get 3 callers Turns are both 2. Bingo, nuts. Bet $100, get one caller Rivers are 4 and 7. Bingo, strait on the bottom, jam for the rest of my chips. Asian next to me hems and haws for a couple of minutes, replaying hand out loud over and over, makes motion to fold a couple of times, finally throws a chip in. I turn over, he mumbles something, looks back and forth at his hand and the board about 5 times, then finally mucks. As I'm raking in my chips I get told my seats ready at plo bomb pot table, so I ended up hitting and running the shit out of the hold em table.
  6. Yes, the fridge is probably where I would. Our fridge crapped out a few months ago and we have space for a 42" so I started looking at high end stuff like subzero. What I found is they are 42" wide but not very deep so they end up being pretty small. I ended up with the biggest one I could find https://www.whirlpool.com/kitchen/refrigeration/refrigerators/side-by-side/p.36-inch-wide-side-by-side-refrigerator-28-cu.-ft.wrs588fihz.html a 28 cubic foot side by side. Most of the 42" were in the 20-24 cubic foot range. The main reason for the 42" being really expensive are you can add shit to the front to make it look like your cabinets.
  7. I lived in the brown high rise in the picture below for a year. Have some pictures laying around somewhere that I took from there of the orange thing getting launched.
  8. If you didn't winterize/had water in the engine there's a pretty good chance the freeze we had this year could have cracked it. Hopefully it's just bad gas.
  9. Lake Austin boating season 2024 is officially underway.
  10. Oh, my bad, didn't realize we were in the Trey's hot takes on military spending Europe vs the US thread
  11. Way worse than that, rust on every bolt under the truck. I wouldn’t buy that, even if it was for a kid and expected to be totaled in 3 years. It’s going to have issues with the brakes, power steering and other little things
  12. FJ is a good first car. It's slow so it should keep the speeding in check, and it's amazingly safe. One FJ got rammed by multiple semi trucks going around 60 during the ice storm a few years ago in FW and the driver lived. I bought mine with 125k miles, have put 13k on in a year and a half and have only had one issue I had to take to the shop, a transfer case leak that cost $2k to fix. There's several posts in the FJ forum about guys not having it in the shop till 200k+ miles. The ones I looked at with >200k miles all seemed worn out compared to the one I got. The big thing you need to watch out for is rust. Toyota had some issues around that time with the coating on the frames. The 2010 I bought was from Canada and was rusting out. I had just totaled my 4runner and hurt my back so I didn't crawl under it when I bought it. I crawled completely under my 2012. Dealer thought I was nuts when he saw me completely under the truck crawling around. I took the 2010 to a body shop to get the frame/underside sand blasted and repainted and he crawled under and 5 seconds later came back up and said "sell it now". I bought it for $21k, drove it for a year and a half and sold it for $18 to a dealer. I saw it listed at a used car lot in Phoenix for $25k. I bought the 2012 for $28k, but it had a few thousand in addons including bumpers, roof rack and a winch. Later year models have more features and off road options than the older ones. If I totaled this one I'd look for a 2012-2014 with around 100k miles. If I was buying one for my kid I'd probably be ok with a 2007-2010 with 200k on it. Should run fine and have a once a year or so starter/alternator/fluid leak that will set you back $500-$1000.
  13. What time in the stream is the crazy hand? Video was from the start for me
  14. If you want to discuss american politics or tucker carlson there are threads for that in the cr
  15. I need this as I have decided to start microwaving my food
  16. Do you have an OC in one of those funny shapes?
  17. Played Big O tournament at Lodge on Monday. With 16 people left I had 800k in chips out of 3.7 million, no one else had $200k. Don’t win a hand for an hour, enter the final table with about 250k. Limp along for a bit, one guy refuses to chop and we’re down to 5 when I go on a run and end up knocking two out and we’re down to 3 and a have 3.3 million of the chips. I end up losing 5 all ins in a row, getting scooped each time and each time I was a huge favorite after the flop. I have AA234, villain KJ985, flop J65, two bricks. Next hand I have J6432 he has AAKT8, flop J65, turn 5, river brick. End up chopping and I got $1334. Went to bullets to play big o on Thursday and got slaughtered. came to TCH for the plo tournament, was chip leader with 4 left and we chopped and I won $730. playing plo bomb pot now
  18. Wow looks like a completely new dog in the last picture Tucker going counter surfing again. Pretty good hops for a 100 pound dog that should be around 60 pounds, 43 inch counter there
  19. There's a Tucker Carlson thread if you want to discuss that dipshit
  20. At the end of WW2 the same thought occurred to many people. The Roosevelt's wife was campaigning for camps to hold all the returning military to be quarantined for a while before letting them back into the country. Soldiers came home and there was no murder or crime spike.
  21. Final tally tournament 2 buy ins at $150, won $1000 = +$700 hold em -$200 plo bomb pot +$1020 pretty good night +$1520
  22. Guy sits down with $500. I know I’ve played with him and kinda remember him as a dick. My hand is 2456 Flop is 223 and KQ3 I check, he pots for $45, only I call. turns are 6’s on both boards. I check, he bets $100, I call. rivers are 2 and 7 giving me quad 2s and the nut straight I pot, he repots, I call. He had KQQ7 he stands up, says “I guess I’m not as good at this game as I thought, how the fuck do you call $100 with the lowest boat possible?” leaves to go play hold em. whole table was laughing at him, apparently no one likes him
