  1. It’ll still be easier to follow than Tenet
  2. Well we’ve seen endless rich / famous / politicians publicly and easily skirt responsibility for their actions. Repeatedly. Seems most cops already have a disdain for the public. No shock that’s how this played out.
  3. Bannon always looks like there’s a MiB alien trying to break free underneath
  4. Ahh good ole View From The Wing. I slot them one above SimpleFlying and for quality of points/flyer news. Comments there are always…interesting
  5. Guess I don’t understand where any confusion comes from…stuff is so powerful that a few grains are enough to kill a person = much easier to smuggle weight = cheap way to offset your shitty/weaker actual drugs = gets used in just about anything. Doubt there’s anyone out there who seeks it like they did oxy…in fact they make test kits so you can avoid it…because the margin of error is so minuscule that a tiny difference in how well it’s measured/mixed leads to vast variability in fentanyl per dose of adulterated h/coke/pills/x. The pill press in your warehouse ends up with a chunk smaller than a grain of salt stuck to it, passed onto one fake Xanax by accident? Deadly.
  6. You’d think someone would notice ~2,000 additional, non-scheduled flights full of immigrants skirting customs at ports of entry.
  7. Maybe he’s just browsing besthugecocks or something
  8. Came to post that Wendy’s link. Pretty sure bet that the ‘value’ pricing = price before the dynamic model was implemented and ‘surge’ will be 1.5x that = just a way to make more money. it’s nearly ruined value in international reward travel…or at least made it much more challenging. I switched from being loyal AA to just Chase Sapphire several years ago to expand my options. And Bezo’s girl looks like the dream wife of just about every guy I’d ever seen at ROT…usually their ham planet wives had to stick to the golf carts. Those dudes always cracked me up with their weekend outlaw fantasies yet were too scared to put their feet on the pegs before 20mph and the constant throttle blips overheated their air cooled, over priced, 1950’s tech Harley’s after two laps of the drag.
  9. JfC y’all take that shit somewhere else already…or go get jobs with a San Francisco CVS and report back. Shoplifting is a real thing, and so is corporate greed.
  10. “Yo where the FUCK is the shitter round here? I gotta drop a deuce like a motherfucker”
  11. Well we all know how employees react when they hear those plastic covers dinging…
  12. Yeah and his version of saving the world is even shittier than the ending of True Detective’s.
  13. Definitely. Let’s get that JosephStang guy on it, he seems like a real problem solver with upper management written all over him
  14. This thread is a great addition to my “I can’t explain this place to people” collection
  15. I agree on the lack of souvenirs piece, but I do enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing I can’t lose the ticket. What kills me about digital tickets is people who wait until they’re at the gate to fumble out their phone only to realize they don’t have a good connection, can’t figure out the app/wallet or try showing the emailed invoice. Fuck them. Show tickets of any kind have become an absolutely stupid expensive endeavor through TicketMasters monopoly on distribution, venues and artists. I practically lived at Stubbs for a few years at $35/ticket barely a decade ago…now it seems any show anywhere is $120+ once you include the ‘convenience’ fee that you are required to pay. Add on a gamed secondary market, $20 beers, $30 parking, ‘dynamic’ pricing like airlines ruining miles redemption…can be a miserable, expensive experience. Then again, the market seems to support $5,000 Taylor Swift or $25 in fees on a $35 Royals ticket so we collectively enable that shit.
  16. Ok so tell me how this is horrible news for democrats
  17. I think about that occasionally and I’ve settled on it depends if my wife/kids are with me. Whole family = getting out of there. Wife only = unsure. By myself = much more likely to Patriot Games it. Regardless, depends on if you have leverage or not. Stupid to charge straight at someone.
  18. All the little bits of chewed up crayons and their wrappers can damage the cockpit systems
