  1. Who can say they all actually work…
  2. It flew to Teterboro via Nashville at 130p today. Must have been showing scheduled legs to San Antonio, through Destin, like the ones last week. Ask Lobo how his FOIA request is going, he seems to ignore my repeated statements that this info is (currently) public knowledge.
  3. N411FJ flew out of Longview today, through Nashville onto Teterboro in NJ. Apparently earlier it was set to repeat a flight from San Antonio, through that Destin airport, and onto Delaware…coinciding with another payment made to Vertol: https://weartv.com/amp/news/local/state-pays-another-950k-to-destin-company-that-flew-migrants-to-marthas-vineyard But, per FlightAware, that didn’t happen. Apparently they didn’t comment on it at a press conference today. Lawsuit gave them cold feet? https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida-politics/2022/09/20/desantis-next-move-bidens-delaware-home-could-be-migrant-flight-stop/?outputType=amp
  4. An IFR what…flight plan? You can (at least for now) see them publicly: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N411FJ https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N359SK
  5. Clarify ‘no tail numbers’. I had a couple Lobo-length posts on those two Do 328’s flight paths, IFR, from two airports in San Antonio…pointing out that Vertol has hanger space at that Destin airport and wondering if the charlotte stops were for fuel.
  6. Ha, now that’s a throwback but still seems true…first reply is most often the best.
  7. Hopefully they got enough JP-4 or diesel. They thirsty. Guess gas would work too, just watch out for girls with baskets on their bicycle.

    NFL Week 2

Those last few plays were unreal. Fumbles, almost-picks, and the perfect combination of place/time to get a scoop n score to win. Wow.

I still don’t know what a catch is
  10. Thanks for the beer and the shade today, y’all. I didn’t know what to expect, was awkward as fuck as I introduced myself by my handle to Immamac, and was simply told where the beer was…just what I needed before getting bent over at the Tito’s tent. Explaining muledick, lurking, tree fitty and Burnt Ends to my buddy went about as concise as a YGIFS/Lobo post. I’ll get him to join one of these days…hopefully he was too drunk to remember my handle here.
  11. Jac Collinsworth calling ND games
  12. I never get used to hearing a Collinsworth calling college games
  13. Another phantom call for ND, offsides on the missed FG results in a first
  14. That was the weakest flag. Bad man hurt leprechaun fee fees
  15. Live look at Cal’s OL
  16. Exclusive? That stuff is all avail on FR24/FlightAware. Interesting they both started at different airports in San Antonio, flew to that little Destin airport where Vertol has hangers, stopped for fuel (I’m assuming) at different airports in SC, then flew to Martha’s Vineyard. Wonder what the passenger manifest looks like on both of those. Not saying it’s some grand conspiracy, and if Vertol had some consulting/subcontracting role in all this it makes sense to go through airports where they have infrastructure…but the huge amount of money, apparently flying people from Texas thru Florida, and the connections of the Vertol owner all seem off. My guess is they went with who they knew to keep it quiet until after the fact, and are using their positions/relationships to spend states money in a shady way…or paying Vertol to manage a slew of these flights, and this was the first. Regardless, it’s interesting to think about.
  17. So what do we think this means?
  18. This is what I was wondering. I saw pics showing it was a Dornier jet (which are kinda rare), going rate ~$5k/hour, and the bird was N359SK. Tracking it that day, even if you were paying for the positioning flight from Cincy it’s maybe 8 hours = $50k max including food/staff which is arguable they bothered with. Here’s what that planes day looked like + flight times: Akron-Pellston: 1:07 Pellston-Cincinnati Municipal: 1:11 Cincinnati Muni-San Antonio: 2:45 San Antonio-Crestview: 1:48 Crestview-charlotte: 1:11 Charlotte-Martha’s Vineyard: 1:37 It’s registered to Ultimate Jet Charters according to the web, which itself is registered in North Canton, Ohio. An article I read shows they have some kind of regular flights out of Cincy Municipal so I’m assuming that’s a base of some kind. It can seat up to 30. The Vertol thing makes no sense. They have some hangers in Crestview (Destin) so assuming that’s why the Dornier flew there. You can see their webpage on waybackmachine, it looks like their primary mission is providing training and support for Russian helicopters. So why was a foreign helicopter niche firm, based out of Oregon, paid 10x the cost of the charter to subcontract with a charter operator to fly a few dozen folks from Texas-Florida-Charlotte-Martha’s Vineyard?
  19. Having spent four years only an hour away from OKC, that is definitely an improvement.

This. I’ve been using U-verse for like 15 years, and anytime I see other video it reminds me how compressed my ‘cable’ is. Any non-satellite competitors out there that have good picture quality?
