I was dealing with swallowing issues due to my (remaining) esophagus tightening from scar tissue. Each one help some, for awhile. But they have to do it very gradually each time so as not to rupture the esophagus, and well, kill me. This time he just think if he can open the path to my (remaining) stomach and small intestine, I may not get nauseous quite as much.
Going in for my number maybe 7 (?) ESOPHAGOGASTRODUODENOSCOPY, BOTOX INJECTION AND DIILATION (had to cut and paste that from my schedule site). Hopefully it aids with digestion and nausea. I don't get the dysphagia (food stuck in my esophagus) like I used to. But still get nauseous all the time.
Kershaw has had a bit of a revival this season. I was hoping he'd retire after the WS win. But glad he didn't. He's been as good as any starter on our staff.
RIP to a legend.
Interesting note, in the "Apollo 13" movie, the actual Lovell played the aircraft carrier captain shaking the actor Lovell's (Hanks) hand.
