  1. The Mavs' jersey game has always been very weak. Put these and Pegasus in the regular rotation, and I'd be a happy camper.
  2. I'm surprised Eric went so early, but you cannot have a bad day when the one of the bottom three has immunity and the other has compromising photos of Tom. I rooted for Voltaggio in his other two seasons, but find him frustrating to watch this go 'round. He seems to have a stubborn case of the Brothers...making great food while ignoring the challenge requirements. I'm really hoping for a Kevin / Gregory / Melissa final. Unless Bryan suddenly wakes up and realizes that merely cooking good food isn't enough, I don't see how anyone else has a chance, barring an uncharacteristic bad day.
  3. No one is in Oakland anymore. It's Vegas now. But half of our departures are there...okay four. Departures Position Player Age 2020 team WR Tavon Austin 30 TBD WR Randall Cobb 30 Houston Texans TE Jason Witten 38 Las Vegas Raiders OT Cameron Fleming 28 New York Giants G Xavier Su'a-Filo 29 Cincinnati Bengals C Travis Frederick 29 Retired DE Michael Bennett 35 TBD DE Kerry Hyder 29 San Francisco 49ers DE Robert Quinn 30 Chicago Bears DT Maliek Collins 25 Las Vegas Raiders DT Christian Covington 27 TBD DT Daniel Ross 27 Las Vegas Raiders LB Ray-Ray Armstrong 29 TBD LB Malcolm Smith 31 TBD CB Byron Jones 28 Miami Dolphins SS Kavon Frazier 26 TBD SS Jeff Heath 29 Las Vegas Raiders
  4. The show ended with Tom saying that the next LCK was starting immediately, and that the winner would re-enter the main competition. The preview I saw showed everyone using a machete in place of a knife. That was likely the QF challenge, which they don't do during RWs week.
  5. Not so fast. The LCK winner will be coming back, which means there will be 9, not 8. Previews did not mention RWs either.
  6. I did not enjoy seeing Tony win his season, and I would definitely not want to see him win again, but he certainly made a strong case that he is a top contender. It's true that he may have made his move too early. It is also true that he has an idol in his pocket as well as an ability to win challenges, especially when they are mostly physical. I also expect him to have picked up on Sophie's "I had an idol in my pocket" comment, and will be out looking for a new one. Speaking of Sophie's idol, do we know if it loses it's power once she goes to extinction? I'm sure this has been covered, but don't recall. Was Nat going to keep those 6 tokens, split them with Parv, or spend them on something for the group to share? Seems we never get to see them spend the tokens, other than when Tyson bought peanut butter.
  7. They both had advantages. Jeremy had the "immunity but have to leave tribal without voting" advantage. Sarah had the "steal a vote."
  8. I have not been a fan of Jenn in the past due to her attitude, but she seems to have finally grown out of that. I would have much rather seen Malarkey go. I still think Steph is a better chef than she is showing, but she cooks scared, and that is not going to keep her around long.
  9. WTF is right. Because the smoke from burning this shit is going to stay in the house?
  10. That was my dream bottom 3, so yeah, win win win, as stated above. Steph can cook, but she does not have the confidence that is needed for a competition like this.
  11. Is there an echo in here? Try to keep up.
  12. Yes, it was me and Julio.
  13. I definitely agree with this.
  14. That's because he was down by the schoolyard.
  15. Other than the amusement of watching Adam try to play Jeff's podium as an immunity idol, last night was a fairly meh episode. So did Mchele buy the 50/50 idol or not, and if so, did Parvarti buy peanut butter for everyone? Did my mind wander at the critical moment, or did they leave us hanging? It's difficult to tell what alliances, if any, truly exist right now. Everyone seems to be in "keep the target off of me" mode. Any resume building is either not being aired to keep us guessing about the eventual winner, or people are too afraid to make any big moves yet because they know they will get voted out. Again referencing last season, all you need to win is a strong last few days.
  16. There was a time when editing and story lines were good indicators of who the eventual winners were going to be, or at least who would go far. I think they do a better job of mixing it up these days. See last season as exhibit A.
  17. Michele won't win. Wendell will cast the deciding vote for someone else...and then we'll find out that they briefly got back together before he kicked her to the curb again.
  18. Yeah, it would have been nice to find out that Michelle was just pretending to be a doormat. Oh well. It looks like Jeremy isn't as in control as he'd like to be, but he gets points for realizing that trying too hard to save Wendell wasn't worth increasing the target on his own back. It wasn't clear who actually engineered the vote, though it appeared that it may have been Sarah. The women continue to dominate the action. I thought Rob was going to end up winning the EoE challenge. So glad he didn't. Maybe we can have a few episodes without him.
  19. I happen to agree with your recency bias take, but you claiming bad inference on what you wrote is you choosing to ignore what you wrote. The "at times" disclaimer does not earn you a pass.
  20. Yeah. I know. The moose out front told me. I vaguely recall even knowing this at one time, but all this yelling at clouds to stay off my lawn takes a toll. I was also led astray by Reneé's wikipedia page, but I should know better. You'll be dazed and confused eventually too.
  21. I stand corrected, but I can see why she would not be overly excited about that role.
  22. My guess is that Reneé didn't mention Dazed and Confused because she wasn't in it. You likely have her confused with Joey Lauren Adams. It's a common mistake.
  23. I've never liked Angelo. He has always come across as a pretender to me. I was expecting to hear Steph's name called instead, but was glad it went the other way. If Malarkey, Lee Anne, and Lisa went next, it would not hurt my feelings.
