  1. The tee shot on 15 is the only thing holding it back, especially compared to 13. Otherwise, ya, it's a fantastic hole, too.
  2. Easiest way to fix your issue in my experience it to call Spectrum, cancel, and sign up for YouTube TV.
  3. The front 3's and 5's are fairly boring I think. 3 and 9 would be my pick. Also, #1 just because it means the Masters has started. 5 is great for the carnage. Back - 13 is a common answer but I love short par 3's and there is no better short par 3 than 12. Love 16, too - all of the hole locations there make for exciting tee shots. I think 10 and 11 are vastly underrated holes. I just named half the course... Hence why this tournament is so awesome.
  4. If you like your circ saw, just build a jig or buy some tracks. And instead of buying a domino, send me the cash so I can buy a usable jointer.
  5. This place always looks awesome on TV but I've never enjoyed the course layout. It's all just target golf, every shot, no creativity. Watch one hole a few times and you can call what's going to happen. It's the Pete Dye way, I guess. PGA West Stadium Course is the exact same (one of my least favorite courses I've played).
  6. Short game chef (who saved my short game in a big way) would disagree. He's against "adding speed" at address. Definitely works for me.
  7. Scottie is on an all time heater as far as ball striking is concerned. That's not hype or being over the top, that's stats. If he could putt consistently... We're approaching a legit next Tiger kind of stratosphere. Like I said, he's gotta get the putting figured out (beyond one round) but the rest of the game is insane.
  8. Are these two tracks just boring from a strategy perspective or are the tires vanilla or... ? Nearly the entire field on the same strategy and even more so if not for one safety car. I feel like in years past there was more variety but maybe I'm misremembering. Also recall a ton more punctures when teams pushed their tires too far. Maybe what I'm saying is I wish Pirelli was.... worse?
  9. I've seen some plans to make one yourself. Doesn't seem terribly difficult just requires space that I don't have.
  10. Do you have access to a kiln? That's always been what's stopped me from doing something similar.
  11. I love walnut but fuck it's 2x the cost of 4/4 maple. And maple is also awesome. Same with sapele.
  12. That first red... The media is trying to get Pioli to say Pulisic was unsporting but he's saw a free ball, he took a free ball, and then his clearish path to goal was blocked by a take down. Auto yellow. He's under no obligation to play the ball out, that's on the defender trying to win a throw vs just putting the ball out.
  13. Come on Ferrari, just keep both cars between Max and Perez and maybe this will keep things interesting for a while. We're all counting on you (that usually goes well).
  14. Do multiple sand + primes or you'll just end up with white cabinets with oaky grain. There are primers out there that are geared towards really raising the grain so you can knock it back in one sanding pass but the process is at least sand + prime + sand + prime IMO. That oak grain is just gnarly to hide.
  15. Wow. The most humble of humble brags I've seen in quite a while.
  16. Well... This practice session is giving a lot more hope than testing did. Surely the RB isn't running THAT weak of an engine mode two sessions in a row, right? Max is 0.5s slower than Ham on a supposed quali sim run and 4 drivers between the two of them.
  17. If you're in Austin, Shear Emporium (Roger) does great work on blade sharpening and is a woodworker as well, though almost 100% hand woodworking. He geeks out when other woodworkers stop by. He should be able to look at the blades and tell you if they have enough metal to be sharpened without rendering the blade useless.
  18. He was running the softs which I think of the potential top 4 teams, only McLaren did that as well and Danny Ric's time was later in the day once the track was more rubbered in. Still was an impressive time but I'm not reading much into it other than he's faster than Yuki.
  19. You could replace Horner with Sporty Spice and Max is still going to win by 15s.
  20. Do you need motor replacement parts or blade replacement? I assume the jointer must be a straight blade vs. spiral/helical cutter head so you could even just have the blades sharpened instead of replaced. Replacement straight blades are generally cheap too (just did this on our planer). Lots of options for blade replacement. Motor replacement would be a different animal given the age of those tools.
  21. Looks like a tank, love the colors, metals, and screws. If they had used a different font for the numerals, I'd be sold. I'd just look at that and think it's "G o'clock", which sounds like a rap lyric.
  22. So in what scenario would you want to post a bond and stay the execution of the judgement - you're afraid the other party is going to spend your money or otherwise make it more difficult to recover? The more I learn about the law, the more I want to ensure I never have to deal with it beyond reasonable.
  23. Echoing this - pure on walnut is awesome. I sand to 220 for Rubio but that's probably more than necessary really. I think they recommend 180-220 and no more - it apparently needs a little grit to help adhere. Which is another huge benefit not having to wet sand all the way to 400 (fuck off, poly).
  24. I'm nearly 100% Rubio these days. Love the ease, look, and sheen.
  25. DTS... Overdramatized, overproduced, pandering. Whatever. I still watch it and I love it. Can't wait to dive into this season.
