  1. Regular old ankle socks for the win. It only takes like a day to get used to it, and you will be much more comfortable afterwards. There is no need to wear heavy boot socks unless you are doing heavy work in heavy work boots.
  2. If you are going to get a can for 300blk you need to get one that is suitable for an AR for killing pigs at least. Plan for the stuff your kids will want to shoot in the future, not the stuff you'll want them to shoot.
  3. Wrangler work shirts are sized like that. I wish they did it on other product lines. Of course that just means more sizes that won't sell as easily, so more stuff has to get marked down at the end of the season and it takes up more rack space in stores. So probably not gonna happen.
  4. I would sooner take them on a sketchy boat ride than sell. Now, giving them away to family members, compadres, or even close friends is a different story. But selling to some rando goes against every fiber of my being.
  5. Wish we could have done Zion's Landing when we were there five years ago, but the wife was like seven months pregnant. Still, we were able to do The Narrows, so we at least got one iconic hike in.
  6. I mean, it's a TV show with a lot of episodes to shoot in a more limited amount of time and presumably a more limited number of locations. I doubt they are able to get complete accuracy with landscapes, and they probably figure most non Texans won't notice.
  7. I think there was a line about him being in the sarlac pit years ago thrown in there. So he was apparently living with the sand people for quite a while.
  8. Yeah, the Hobbit trilogy is just a cash grab. Half of the stuff in it was just made up filler.
  9. What was Faith Hill expecting after that "talk" she had with her daughter? At least homeboy got some. Still well short of Amarillo.
  10. Cascada El Salto del Agua Cascada El Meco Cascadas de Micos Hotel Tapasoli Mineral De Pozos
  11. La Peña de Bernal Tolantongo Sótano del Barro Puente de Dios Las Pozas
  12. I pushed for Jedediah (or Jedi for short) Luke NAAL for our last son. She agreed to one of those names.
  13. Let's be honest, you have to go way more out of your way to listen to a podcast than you do to have to push a button on your radio. Or maybe I'm just old and don't do podcasts other than Blueprint for Armageddon. Yorktown ain't got nothing on the Battle of Yonkers.
  14. I see you don't Blueprint for Armageddon. Seriously though, I don't really do podcasts, but this one is awesome for the overnight shift on crosscoumtry roadtrips. It is 23 hours or so, but well worth it.
  15. In the 1830's, there shirts went down almost to their knees so they could wear them like a nightgown at night and tuck them around their junk in lieu of underwear during the day.
  16. Clearly you don't watch Bluey. Disney+ and Paranount+ are both worth it if you have young children. The original content is just icing.
  17. I guess I'm gonna go back out and sit in the deer blind.
  18. Nice cold front yesterday. Last day of muzzleloader season. I'll be wandering around in my hunting shirt and fringed wool drop front trousers (circa 1830's) with my flintlock hoping to drop something. But mostly just enjoying being in the woods hunting like my ancestors did two hundred years ago. Of course, I have binoculars, because I am civilized. I hope my ancestors understand.
  19. If you don't have anywhere to go but your roof you might as well film it.
  20. Lol, Boba Fett running around yelling cocksucker at everybody?
  21. Not just boots, but good wool hiking socks as well. Wool socks can be worn for a couple days or more without feeling grimy. If your feet hurt from soaking through poor socks you will feel miserable.
