  1. Not Austin, but close enough. Always disappoints they misspelled "snek" but oh well.
  2. Yeah, good stuff. Walton sitting around with a few of his former Blazer teammates in the old Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Collectively, 6 to 8 knee replacements, multiple hips, and on and on. And I've always had a mad crush on Lori Walton. Nothing's changed.
  3. Walton is just awesome period, including his on-air work.
  4. Starts tomorrow night, 30 for 30 on Our National Treasure. Can't wait to watch this.
  5. Plays the game at a level above anyone else, and it's not close. The court vision and awareness is something that no one else in the league can touch.
  6. Just very impressive, all around. Incredible defense, timely hitting and clutch pitching.
  7. Just need to make sure the hotness behind home plate stays. About all that is interesting right now.
  8. Little league-sized crowd. Pathetic.
  9. You see a pitch count like Johnson's last night and then shake your head at that # from Allan Ramirez, 232 (v. Texas in '77).
  10. Yeah, that was a big, big effort. Pitch count be damned.
  11. At this rate they may not get the game in until Monday.
  12. Da hell is that nasty line from Laredo to Piedras Negras moving inward?
  13. Idiots who yield. usually stop, for traffic when they have a protected, standalone lane to continue driving.
  14. Yeah, over 8 days that (ex) employee should have caught it. Damn long investigation. 18 months.
  15. Got weird aways back when pics were posted of chips that looked like malformed vaginas.
  16. Scrolled down w/o reading the text....thought you been snek'd in the finger.
  17. Damn, that looks like a gorgeous day for a game.
  18. The city not doing the right and prudent thing is mind-boggling? More so, it's just following the SOPs to a tee.
  19. No worries, not taxpayer dollars.... AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin City Council approved an $88 million settlement agreement with LoneStar Holdings, the group that operates the airport’s South Terminal, for a lawsuit in Travis County District Court and another in federal court. The agreement allows Austin-Bergstrom International Airport the ability to move forward with its expansion and redevelopment program, according to an AUS press release. As part of its expansion plans for AUS, the city decided last June to use eminent domain to take over the property near the main terminal where the South Terminal sits. The city agreed to a 40-year deal with Lonestar in March 2016 and then in June 2022 offered to pay the group $1.9 million, which Lonestar denied, citing the amount it took to renovate the South Terminal. As a result, the company filed a lawsuit against the city last August. https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/88m-settlement-approved-for-critical-austin-airport-expansion/
  20. It's a unbridled shits show on all these fronts and more. But in a city that likes to spend consulting $ on how we should pick consultants, not a dime has been spent toward engaging Alan Graham to my knowledge. And that's one of the biggest crimes of all. But, hey, why do that? You'd only get sensible and pragmatic ideas about addressing homelessness while also interrupting the flow of money into pockets that are getting more full by the day.
