  1. It works for me in Firefox, both with and without javascript enabled, and also works on Chrome, fwiw.
  2. That is called marking the calendar at any given 9pm Saturday.
  3. That is what my Driver's Ed teacher taught me, back when you took driver's ed in high school.
  4. The pre-installed seat back chairs got a major upgrade, that was nice. They didn't show the text captions of the announcer/referee comments well this time. The referee audio is often unintelligible, and I like seeing the player names in the commentary. I would have extra liked to read the names and countries of the Olympic medalists, I could barely understand that audio. Did they change the down markers on the field? I remember being able to read these, now they are these LED numbers that are so dim they are hard to see.
  5. My favorite Lake Alice fact, as a crocodilophile, is that if you search for news stories about people trying to have a picnic at Lake Alice, and then an alligator crawls out of the lake to steal their lunch, you have to keep track of the dates on the stories since this happens repeatedly and otherwise the different stories will run together.
  6. Ah ok. I missed that part.
  7. I did. With 0 completions/yards/tds, the formula gives a=-0.15, b=-0.75, c=0, d=2.375, then the overall rating is (-0.15 - 0.75 + 0 + 2.375) / 6 * 100 = 24.583.
  8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passer_rating For 0/30 you get a rating of 1.475/6 * 100% = 24.583, using the NFL formula.
  9. Can confirm. I have only visited once, and met this guy, who hissed at me, at Lake Alice.
  10. But this implies that the hole is completed. I am pretty sure this can never be so.
  11. On both sides of the same at-bat even! When the game was suspended, Jansen was at bat for Toronto. When the game resumed, Jansen was the catcher for the Red Sox, with Varsho pinch-hitting for Jansen.
  12. I don't have a Facebook account so I am not able to get to the 'Thirst Trap' photo shoot, that I am actually rather thirsty for...
  13. Do you happen to know the line number/construction number/delivery registration of that 727? I have a book that lists these for all the 727's made. I.e. the first TWA 727 was line number 36 (the 36th built), construction number 18569, and registration N850TW, first flight 25 Mar 1964. I probably don't actually want to know the answers though, as I am very fond of the 727, and don't need reasons to find them creepy.
  14. The first circulating coin of the US was the 'Fugio cent', partially designed by Ben Franklin. It includes the motto 'Mind Your Business'.
  15. No. They would both displace exactly the same volume of water, the volume of the objects. If the object is FLOATING, then the weight of the water displaced will equal the weight of the object. So if your two identical objects have a density small enough to float, then the denser one will displace more water (and float lower) than the less dense one.
  16. I suspect that NASA is really desperate for some alternative to Elon Musk and they really really wanted another option, and so Starliner got as much rope as possible. But Boeing.
  17. How does this relate to EBITDA?
  18. Hold the Olympics in El Paso, and the gators will be part of the history. https://kisselpaso.com/san-jacinto-plaza-alligators/
  19. KA-ma-la which I might write 'Comma-la' like above. Emphasis on the first syllable. My first guess was ka-MA-la but that is not correct.
  20. Happy World Snake Day, degenerates!!
  21. There is an alternate back way to Bumpass Hell that is open even when the main trail is closed. Park at Kings Creek Picnic Area, and first hike 1 mile (easy) to Cold Boiling Lake. Then on the other side of the lake, head left and uphill for 2 miles (not as easy) to the back side of Bumpass Hell and the boardwalk. I was just at Lassen NP a week and a half ago, and the main trail to Bumpass was indeed closed, but this back way was open, okay by the rangers, and fine. There were a couple of snow patches but the trail was fine. This way is presumably harder than the normal trail, but is nothing crazy.
  22. That PDF link didn't work.
