  1. I want to see a replay on that.
  2. mighty good consolation prize. I am sure the memories made were worth it.
  3. I think that is because it is A321 (321) layout 1 on seatguru. You can change it on the left hand side of the page.
  4. I have had it fresh in Singapore and it does smell bad.
  5. omg I just turned on the stream (the last couple days I had to follow along here), I thought it was typical surly bitching about how bad these guys are. They are awful.
  6. Well TPG values Hilton points are valued at about .5 cents a point, so if I can earn 70,000 points it is equal to about $350 dollars (The delta between ascend and aspire cards). The card earns 14 points per dollar spent at Hilton properties as opposed to 12 times for the ascend card. So to get those 70,000 points I need to spend $35k at Hilton properties in a year. Which is right around why my hotel expenses land. Then when you add in the $250 Airline credit and $250 resort credit (that you get for the Aspire card but not the ascend) that is just extra. There may be better ways that earn me more for that 35k but, I am not as good at how to maximize my points as most of you.
  7. I have the Aspire, but I stay at a ton of Hilton properties so I am able to easily offset the $450 fee.
  8. Based on your list you like high end food, I went to L’ATELIER de Joël Robuchon last weekend and it was pretty phenomenal.
  9. Yeah, sure there are better places but it most certainty does not "suck".
  10. Set a alarm on your phone to remind you to turn it on and keep it charged once a week.
  11. Don't do Circle C. That commute will suck. Great Hills or anything along Jollyville up to Balcones is a good starting place.
  12. in n out is where the Burger King was.
  13. Video here - http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/recap?gameId=401083081 I think they had to call the T since it was thrown as he attempted the free throw
  14. Thats great - amazing how much made it into the film much later.
  15. It is a shame you want to take a serious issue/question/problem and use it to stir up emotion, might as well just take this to cloak room.
  16. so are you upset the CEO is making 200% more or that the the low lever worker is only making 10% more? Because those are two different discussions and trying to relate them does not make a whole lot of sense.
  17. You still have not examples why there is a problem to solve. CEOs make more...so what? do you think the 50-200 people in the the US this applies to are really effecting the rest of us?
  18. got a searzall a couple weeks ago. Did SV steaks this weekend and finished them with the searzall. WOW so easy and they were perfect.
  19. Not getting the hate for Slorch on this one. Someone asked what happened around 1995 that could be related to the rise in CEO pay, he posted a link that showed a possible explanation. No one said it was completely justified. Worrying about CEO pay seems like a waste of time, it is not like if the CEO was paid less all of the sudden the company would pay everyone else more. More than likely that difference would instead be returned to the stock holders in some way instead. But since the stock holders essentially decide to the CEO pay they have voted for it by maintaining ownership of the stock.
  20. I started picking these up as well. Have the 200mm and the 170mm
  21. Subscribed - we are going on a cruise to Alaska in June leaving from Vancouver. We plane to go a few days early to check it out since i have never been. Will have two kids in tow as well.
  22. Sometimes, I am sure in a growth period companies can risk over hiring. In the story here though people were literally going to work with nothing to do, why they were laid off should not shock anyone.
