  1. PGA already coming back in June without fans. NFL is playing. TV money outweighs everything. Ticket sales are huge but they will make plenty off just airing every game and selling ads.
  2. I do think there will be a new normal and there is nothing wrong with that. We can temporarily change seating and capacities in restaurants. Regular retail could limit number of customers. Everyone should wear a face covering. Movie theaters, concerts and sporting events will be a ways out. Elective surgeries can happen in surgery centers and smaller hospitals not set up for coronavirus patients. It’s not all one way or the other. If you aren’t comfortable doing that and a lot won’t be then stay at home. I don’t think things will go back to normal but we can make this work.
  3. Not a chance are we locking down until 2021, and that is how long it will take to get a vaccine.
  4. How much is back dated testing? I really don’t trust anything at this point. I know we are still expecting to peak in early May. My wife is a nurse practitioner and the hospitals are empty in Austin as of today. Hospital admittance and ICU numbers are all that should really matter. But it seems like St David’s, Seton and BSW don’t want to release those numbers
  5. Wife is a nurse practitioner and their practice is getting hit hard. They can’t do any of their procedures besides cancer so revenue for the doctors is way down.
  6. It’s a decent comforter but she has never really cared to make make the bed like some 5 star hotel bed. Although the dog makes it look terrible. The living room is a different story. We have a fucking 7k couch from the parade of homes and the throw pillows have to be perfect. The couch is down and every time you move off the couch it has to be reformed. Back to regularly scheduled dog photos
  7. Dude thinks he owns the house. Neither my wife or me were in bed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It’s definitely a thing. That’s why new construction has fart fans in laundry room. Supposed to run it while running any cycles.
  9. Travis County saying a man in his 30s has died from covid 19 https://www.kvue.com/mobile/article/news/health/coronavirus/coronavirus-austin-covid-19-central-texas-updates/269-caa16c1a-7069-4d89-9946-ccfe74da3b8e
  10. Construction is considered essential throughout the state. Job sites are open, most never fully shut down. Abbott took care of that on Tuesday
  11. I would have done some horrific things to have been able to do that. Jamie was all woman at 13
  12. I went to high school with Jamie. One in white not Asian
  13. Lowe’s is pretty essential. Homes still need repair. But the garden center probably not.
  14. In 6-8 weeks, I will have enjoyed my Easter service and will be getting ready to party it up on the beach for Memorial Day weekend.
  15. Unless there was a lot of rain in Georgetown today. Nothing South of the River he should be good.
  16. Are you in utilities or fire protection? Where else is Ferguson now?
  17. We do Tri-Trade HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical
  18. No not all these are people that have worked for us for years. SF new construction has plenty of space. We can work with 3-4 guys in a house. In fact we sent all of our builders a notice we would only work in a house that had no other trades. It’s been accepted as a practice at this time. Our subs keep asking for more work. They need and want to work. I went to 2 distributors today and they are pickup only with no counters open. They also want to keep the chain moving.
  19. Abbott better step up. Adler is a fucking moron. Not just this but a long list of things
  20. Builders still going strong today. My clients are trying to fight it. They did not let us do 5 grounds in Austin today in case they are really shut down. They think they can continue to work. We only have 2 active communities in Austin. Everything still going strong in Hays and Williamson County.
  21. 86 cases in Travis County. Increase of 7 from yesterday.
  22. I think the same thing could be said about Austin, Houston and many more cities across the country.
