  1. Sad day! Terrific actor. One of my favorites of his that I watch every Christmas, The Gathering.
  2. David Addison Maddie Hayes Frank Columbo Adrian Monk
  3. Yep, it was unbelievable but I did like the twist.
  4. Trump is full blown stupid if he thinks MTG is intelligent. Don’t let that guy within a thousand miles of leading this country again.
  5. I watched Sweet Girl. Oddly enough after going about half way thinking this was not good, it ended up being pretty good. It has some surprises.
  6. Anybody seen Becket? That’s next on my list.
  7. Those that feel like they been forgotten. That’s what Fox and Trump keep telling them.
  8. Oh wow, my wife said that was the grossest thing she’s seen on tv.
  9. Why? You keep voting them in. Shouldn't that tell you something? I guess I'm trying to figure out where the moderate is in your statement. If you only vote Republican in state elections then did you vote for Biden nationally? I guess I'm just not familiar with any Republican moderates in Texas. They all act far-right to me.
  10. Bird guts?
  11. It was a beer commercial and wasn’t real but maybe inspired by a real person.
  12. I agree with you 100%. Spot on. I like your suggestions of being more aggressive and owning the message. The problem I have with the Democrats is what you said, they say something like Defund the Police and do nothing to explain what they mean, letting people decide on their own, and then giving air to the Republicans to use it for their own benefit to piss people off and create fear and anger. This happens over and over.
  13. That would be a letdown, but could be.
  14. I have really enjoyed this show but I’m glad it’ll be over next week.
  15. Hadn’t thought of that but I like it!
  16. Paul Giamatti looks like he’s lost 100 pounds. Really different.
  17. I think you’re right. The coffin is being put into a plane to ‘travel’ which makes me think it’s one of the group staying at the hotel. He seems to be pretty upset and I don’t think it’s his wife. He was closer to his mom than his wife.
  18. Who do you think dies? I’ve enjoyed it, and enjoy most of Mike White’s creations, but you’re right it’s weird.
  19. They are both gorgeous. But Monica is beautiful! But either would do.
  20. Bravo Michael Steele!
  21. I’ve gone around and around on who should play Bond. I’m now thinking Sam Heughan.
  22. Awesome!!!! That’s a great trailer!
  23. I think SEC teams, not Alabama, may be concerned that Texas/OU joining will show that they are not one step away from being Alabama but really are one step away from being Kansas. That the SEC really isn’t as awesome and powerful as they want everyone to think they are. I’m looking at you Aggy!
  24. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walk,_Don't_Run A couple of days ago I was watching an ESPN documentary about the '64 Tokyo Summer Olympics and it reminded me of this film. I did not realize that 1964 was the last year Tokyo had hosted the Summer Olympics. This is a good film to get you excited for the upcoming event and also, this was Cary Grant's last film before he retired. He was wonderful as Sir William Rutland, who arrives in Tokyo for a business meeting a couple of days early and because of the Olympics can't find a hotel. Today you would just go online for a VRBO or an AirBnB, but back then you put a card tacked on a bulletin board advertising an available, temporary, room. The music is by Quincy Jones. If you can find this movie, make some popcorn, grab a drink and settle in.
