  1. I'd always liked what I heard on rock radio growing up, and in 1984 I bought my first 2 Who albums: "Greatest Hits" and "Live At Leeds." I put them both on 1 TDK SA90 and that cassette didn't leave my car stereo for my entire senior year of high school. I started UT in the fall of '85 and got a CD player for Christmas. One of my first purchases was the original 2-CD "Tommy' (FYI, that cost me like $32. That is insane). Mind BLOWN. Again, I taped it and that cassette didn't leave my car during my freshman year unless I was playing the tape that had "Under A Raging Moon" on one side and "White City" on the other (hey, it was as close to a new Who album as you could get). When people ask the eternal Beatles or Stones question, my answer is always THE WHO. My favorite band of all time.

Beautiful. In this overdone era of college sports, I am shocked at its simplicity.
  3. Colt just signed up for another season with the Cardinals.
  4. I just googled UCLA radio network on my phone and it immediately showed me a link for the Oregon game. I launched it and it was about 10 seconds behind the TV broadcast, so I just paused the TV for 10 seconds and I was perfectly in sync for the rest of the game. Too bad the Bruins were very much NOT in sync.
  5. I had to turn him off when he proclaimed the PAC had 6 tourney locks. I synced up the Josh Lewin radio broadcast from the UCLA website and I am much happier (loved Josh when he did Texas Rangers games). Also, had no idea Jacob Young plays for Oregon now.
  6. Most likely, you will have exactly the same seats you have now but on the south end. I was in 31 for years and they moved me a couple years ago because of the new student section, and my new seats were the same row and yard line but on the north side. Even the people around me were in the same spot but flipped. Now I guess I’m moving back to where I used to be. Saw every game Vince and Colt played from those seats, so I’m happy to go back.
  7. Thanks for the info. I'm sorry you're unhappy, but it looks like I'm moving back to the seats I had in Section 31 for 20 years! No complaints here.
  8. UT athletics left me a voice message today concerning “important information about your ticket location” for 2022. I was part of the group that was relocated a couple years ago when they moved the student section, but I was essentially given the same seats on the north end. Anyone know what’s going on this time? The message said to tune in to Delconte’s town hall in early February for more info.
  9. I was laughing my ass off at the fake punt/delay of game sequence. It was just so comically ridiculous.
  10. I was just so happy to see Albert Brooks on the show. Nice tribute to Bob.
  11. ESPN2 has been choppy all day on my Uverse— it looked the same way during the Euro broadcast earlier. Seems better when I use the ESPN app on my Roku.
  12. Has anyone else noticed that this new Bally Sports broadcast doesn't show batter stats on even a semi-regular basis? They have this fucking ridiculous ticker at the bottom of the screen and it does show stats during the batter's first AB of the game-- but after that, NADA (but I certainly know what time the LA Kings and San Jose Sharks are dropping the puck). There's a pitch count tracker throughout and it will tell me the current batter is 1-3 tonight, but you never see an average or any other stats after that first AB. I've checked out other regional Bally broadcasts on my MLB subscription and they all have a chyron that shows average, RBIs, HRs etc throughout the game-- you know, the usual shit we see every time a batter comes to the plate on every baseball broadcast since 1960. This is driving me nuts. Yes, I know I can pull it up on my fucking phone in real time. But I shouldn't have to do that. It should be on my screen, just like it is for all the fuckheads who watch the Twins on Bally Sports Minnesota and the Astros on Bally Sports Trashcan. I suppose one could argue that maybe the Ranger organization doesn't WANT you to see Joey Gallo's current batting average...but c'mon, man.
  13. Greg Brown retweeted the staff tweet. Hmmmmm...
  14. Yay! I can watch Texas hoops again! I've been following games on my phone for 4 years because I haven't been able to stomach actually watching us play.
  15. I was there in 2004. An 8-year-old told me to fuck off. I enjoyed the victory.

These are all original pressings. I never did get my hands on a good copy of "Rid of Me," unfortunately. PJ is easily my favorite artist of the '90s.
  17. This commitment makes me really happy. My nephew was a senior DB for Flower Mound during the 2019 season so I attended all of the games, and Auburn has a really strong leg. He's also a really nice kid.
  18. That 22-point loss to a decent-but-not-great Xavier team didn't do them any favors, but they have played very well since then.
