  1. This board is nothing if not a deja vu machine. We played this game with slorch last week. Name one--just one--comparable politician to the wide array of extremists in the GOP. "Uhh, err, umm, you know, the loons, you know who I mean, those guys." Real compelling stuff.
  2. I don't think that the GOP hates America because of their policies. I think they hate America because they've been parroting literal Russian propaganda for the better part of a decade, keep showing up on the call lists of actual Nazis, and they want to do everything in their power to limit--or overthrow, as the case was--Democratic elections. You'll have to explain to me how wanting universal healthcare--even if unwise to implement here--makes one anti-American.
  3. And why exactly do they hate America? Solely because they have different policy opinions than you?
  4. So no one, specifically? You said they were more anti-America than "Russians and jihadists"...guess I assumed that meant you'd have a specific person--or even policy--in mind to have such a strong opinion, not just generalities about whatever right wing boogie man we're on today. Silly me still giving you a sliver of intellectual credit.
  5. I'm sorry, truly. I'm just still laughing at the notion that fatty considered himself "center", witnessed 2016, and decided that the prudent thing would be to align himself further right in not-so-silent protest of some strangers he finds annoying on the Internet.* You know, like a smart person. These are the logical giants that we're dealing with. I appreciate the unintended humor. *and then proceed to troll them for 7 years for the lulz like any stable, happy individual.
  6. Man, really unfortunate coincidence that almost all of the would-be murdering assholes wound up in America. Name one, please.
  7. Fatty lives in a fantasy world where, whenever Trump is out of the picture (when, exactly?), all of these principled, reasonable, anti-regulation, tough-on-crime, tax cut conservatives that have been laying low for 8 years trying to not get ostracized by MAGA are going to perk up, and it's going going to be business as usual. Whatever he thought that world was no longer exists.
  8. Keep lying and deflecting. It suits you.
  9. Dude, if your truly think you're anywhere near the center, I don't know what to tell you.
  10. There are some mother fucking smart people all over this board. I'm not saying that I've ever had a strongly held position, read random stranger's post, and immediately did a 180. That's unrealistic and wouldn't speak highly of me if I did. But I at least try to keep a somewhat open mind and, when I find myself intellectually lacking on certain topics, I make a point to learn more about them independently (not in a "I do my own research!" kind of way). You should try it.
  11. God damn. I need to stop being so damn naive. I thought even the Trump's were smart enough to strategically distance themselves from Michael Flynn.
  12. I guess this is this week's episode of Fatty's Passion Topics that he Inexplicably Knows Literally Nothing About.
  13. I'm out of condescending outrage nomenclature and needed some low hanging fruit.
  14. We should absolutely try to do something about that too. Hint: it will involve [checks notes] gun control on [checks notes] largely legally obtained firearms. You're doing great at hiding your embedded racism. Keep going, buddy!
  15. People like fatty and sack like to go with the, "you've got a better chance of getting hit by lightning" defense (untrue, but whatever). Like if every other developed country had figured out a way to greater reduce random lightning strikes, and America was like, "fuck all that, lightning is bad ass," it wouldn't be equally as dumb.
  16. And most rational people with a pulse possess the empathy to see it happen to someone else's kids and say, "Gee, that sucks. I sure wouldn't want that to happen to my kids. Maybe we should try to do something about it." You don't. It is what it is.
  17. Broader gun restrictions do a whole lot more than just limit mass shootings, you fucking child.
  18. You are such a dishonest piece of shit, it's unreal. You've already admitted that you'd completely change your tune if it was your kids shot to shit by a random gunman. As long as it's someone else's kids, you just don't care. Full stop.
  19. That's literally the fucking point, man. No, we shouldn't trivialize or minimize gang violence, but I've got a pretty good idea on how to keep my kids from winding up a victim of it. Please instruct me how we keep completely random victims and kids away from schools, Walmarts, Dollar Generals, concerts, etc., etc. and the latest dipshit with a manifesto.
  20. Checo qualifies over one second behind his teammate. Checo gets first dibs on pitting for inters, allowing him to claim P1, 14 second ahead of Max. Checo allows Max to get within 3 seconds after, like, 4 laps. Checo locks up his front tires on turn 1 and ends up in the wall. Checo gets absolutely bailed out after unforgivably pitting right before a red flag (presumably a terrible team decision) and is put back into P3 for the restart. Checo incurs at pit lane speeding penalty and never remotely challenges Alonso for P2. "Checo always gets fucked."
  21. Let me help you out. "Black people be drive-by shooting folks like it's going out of style in Chicago."
  22. And our "gun control" measures working as designed.
  23. This is where I'm at. Every argument against Democrats almost strictly involves questionable policies. Oh, these numb nut tree huggers have terribly policy ideas about giving the poors money that probably won't work and will cost us millions. Okay, cool, let's debate it. Meanwhile, almost every member of the modern GOP tangentially--or straight up directly--supports the worst human beings currently walking this earth. White supremacy, Holocaust denial, anti-Semitism, fascism, cultism, xenophobes, bigots, and stochastic terrorists. But both sides, yo. Dishonest fucks.
  24. I get not starting on inters. A standing start surrounded by dudes on softs sounds dangerous as shit. But how several teams--not just Ferrari--didn't have inters locked and loaded for a potential early pit stop is beyond me. All their real-time radar forecasting, and no one popped their head out and said, "Um, it's raining on the other side of the track. Let's be ready." Even Red Bull was slow getting inters out of the garage for Sergio when the 2nd storm cell came through when every teams' radio chatter for the last 37 minutes was, "Rain expected in exactly 37 minutes." I'm sure the answer is tire blankets and what not, but still weird.
