  1. It’s a real problem. Need something from Benn, Pavs, Roope, etc. Fucking something.
  2. That seems like a weak call on Miro
  3. I meant the news moreso than the courtroom sketch ... but speakin' of no one's lookin' ...
  4. I can fap to this?
  5. I gave up the fight a couple years back and just signed up with Energy Ogre. They move me like every six months, sometimes 12. They just moved me to CleanSky last month. It's a minor nuisance to have to update billing bookmarks with the frequent change but it is what it is.
  6. Yeah, that was my one experience with Valentina's at the trailer. Long wait in line, which is typical for a high-end BBQ place. However, most long trips through the line end with food on your tray as you walk away from the counter to go sit down and eat. Not there. Food was damn good, though.
  7. Why do they all look like Batman villains?
  8. Holy fuck, we’ve crossed the Rubicon. AMAZEBALLS
  9. Well, this would be kind of catastrophic if this Boston group went out in R1 two years in a row after posting 245 combined points the past two seasons. Could Monty get booted if they lose G7?
  10. Kessler was packed for Kurt Vile tonight. Good show. We got a fun cover of the Silver Jews’ “Dallas” during Kurt’s mid-set solo interlude. Love that song. First night of a busy live music run for my wife and I with Kilby Block Party in SLC next weekend. Trying to maybe work in Echo and the Bunnymen at HOB next Wed too.
  11. That is terrific. I can honestly say that I think the amount of entertainment that Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David have given me over the years will never be surpassed by anything else. Absolute geniuses and the marine biologist example here is wonderful. I think Curb did just fine on the dismount. And honestly, did it really matter if it stuck the landing. Game of Thrones or Lost missing the ending is a much more egregious fuckup as those series built for those final scenes. Comedies are unique in that it really doesn't matter. The shit ain't supposed to be serious.
  12. I bet Faksa based on what Owen Newkirk was saying that Faksa was doing more things already. Personally, I might roll with what we've done the past three games unless either of those guys is 100% back. Shit, maybe dress 13 forwards if you're not going to play Lundkvist more than 2-3 mins. God forbid there's some emergency, could somebody slot back for a few mins here and there. Where's Dustin Byfuglien when you need him?
  13. Damn straight. I don't think I've been to McDonald's since they started selling "higher-quality" coffee so I'd always just sub out the shitty black coffee with a Coke.
  14. Yes, he first said it awhile back. I think it caught some attention and he really likes how it's played so he uses it quite a bit. Cohen is not a "good guy" in any of this sordid mess. He's useful for the prosecution but I think maybe he might be better served turning down the "asshole" bit just a little bit in order to hold better sway with the jury.
  15. I could be mistaken but I don't believe it's possible to have a double-minor call for anything other than high-sticking penalties. Everything else is a minor, major or match penalty.
  16. Good finds. Those are fun to read. I admittedly don't follow too much until they get to Dallas. Any of the other guys discussed still in our future, or have they washed out already?
  17. I kind of wish Cohen would dial back on that a little bit. It was amusing for a bit but at some point, I think you see diminishing returns and it's really unnecessary.
  18. Reminded me of a great story Walton Goggins told on Seth Meyers a few weeks back when he was on promoting Fallout. Apparently, Goggins' dad is quite the character. This is what he basically wears every single day -- with TONS of turquoise. So he gets noticed a lot. He carries around signed autograph pictures of himself that he gives out to people when they ask him who he is. In addition, he also has pictures of his son Walton, the true famous guy, and offers those as well. (The kicker is that Walton Jr's pics are signed by Walton Sr. I'll see if I can find the portion of the interview because it was the funniest, most endearing late-night talk show interview segment I've seen in many years.) Found it -- hoping this starts about 6:32 where he says Baby Billy's character/look is partly inspired by his dad. If clip doesn't start there, scrub to 6:32.
  19. Saw this last night on Kimmel. I'm insane now, Chuck.
