  1. /csb I met shelby’s 7th wife “cleo.”
  2. How is the keel secured? Slide it in the hole and then bolt some plate to the top of it, or does the fin go in top down and then bolt bulb on? do you have to fair it every time or does it just fit really well? When’s the first race?
  3. You're a patient dude. I would be doing more than tracking the shipper online. The boat looks perfect. How long until assembly?
  4. I like that one poor bastard - the last one on port tack right next to the mark. There’s nothing more fun than working your ass off for the entire beat, and then ducking the entire fleet because ... It’s better in dinghies because you can just bumper boat your way in there and pray. These 52’s don’t bumper boat as well. g650, where’s your new ride?
  5. Damn, first you misread my post, and then you call out Grenada Tech. This cannot stand. I said "high wealth - trust and tax planned - client" meaning someone that was high wealth, and had their shit PLANNED. I did not intend to discuss planning, but it is definitely cleaner than probate, but where's the fun in a desk-jockey practice. Question, for those of us that went to Grenada Tech, how do you exclude the under 10MM NW clients from your practice? TwiceHorn wants to know too, I"m sure.
  6. Disagree in part. Not all probate is equal. There's the high wealth - trust and tax planned - client and that work is pretty clean and lucrative. Then there's the "I want daddy's bass boat" crowd that will make you scratch your head. I think you inadvertently over-generalized and I just thought I should point it out. Carry on now.
  7. I’ve read some accounts of the event and I think it was a combination of ignorance and hubris. they didnt believe this type of reactor could/would blow like that, at least without warning. The graphite on the ground with the round - cylinder shaped orifice was a damper for the rods/reaction. The fact that it was on the ground was the nuclear equivalent to finding your intel processor laying on the ground 10 feet from your computer. It should alarm you and clearly it’s bad broken, but it’s so far from the norm that it doesn’t register - the whole fucking thing blew up. as I understand it there were 4 reactors in line there and we’re lucky only 1 went. I read that the first public knowledge of an event was at a Swedish reactor where all the alarms went off. The engineers all freaked out thinking they had a problem - they didn’t - it was radiation from blown dust all the way from fucking Ukraine. im glad this story is being told.
  8. Driving around College Station this weekend my wife and i noted a lot of road repairs, and the general appearance of the campus. My six year old son in the backseat was listening to all of this and he blurted out "it looks like the prison from Despicable Me."
  9. I’ve got an idea to make money. buy maroon things - cars, clothes, whatevs, and bring them here to sell. surely the premium will justify the effort. What do you call that? Arbitrage? Profit.
  10. Texas Science Olympiad - I’m in the heart of darkness this weekend. they just took the whole fake army out for a march-around. The band, the dog, the swords, the hairy women with deep voices, the whole shebang. ive never been to North Korea but I imagine it is like this, with better women.
  11. 10 - Marijuana legal nationwide, recreational. 20 - Human's live, continuously, on a different planet/moon. 30 - US restarts Israel/Palestinian peace process, with a "real chance at success this time."
  12. I’ve been rolling to sunny isles and Bal Harbour. What am I missing?
  13. Thanks for that clarification. It really added meaning.
  14. After an especially large clusterfuck at FLL TSA, I saw a man of latin heritage stop, kneel, cross himself and pray. It took a toll on me too, but I had a good laugh at that poor bastard. Idiots trying to get through TSA caused him to question his faith.
  15. Colin Guinn and Christi Woods are Texans. Colin is from Corpus, I don't know where Christi is from but I think I would like to go there. https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/the-amazing-race-colin-guinn-christie-woods-zen-not-intense/
  16. Do you even usufruct, bro?
  17. I’m writing this down for the next asshole that comes along - I understand you already completed your trip. Bond 45 is a solid Italian restaurant. I’m sure there are better and you know-it-all’s can one-up me, but I’ll put bond45 up against your place and feel solid. that is all.
  18. I disagree. Uber and Lyft offer a service. If you get sidetracked or lost on the way to the point of delivery, where did they fall short? if I want whataburger but I’m drunk and walk into McDonald’s instead ... I’m harmed in some way...what does whataburger owe me and why?
  19. Situational awareness can save your bacon. True story - I stepped into an asian restaurant in Sioux City Iowa once. Quick glance around and I immediately knew I was in harm's way. It was like the scary parts of Big Trouble in Little China (I have blue green eyes so, who knows what they planned on doing with me). I exited that mf'er post haste and possibly, that's why I'm here with you all today.
  20. Is it possible that some girl was going to be murdered that night, no matter what? Don’t people get murdered at work, bus stops, in their beds and just about everywhere else? this dude saw something he liked, schemed up a play and then ran his play. I’m not convinced that he was a rational sane person who found himself with a female in his backseat and this unexpected circumstance unleashed the latent murderer.

Redline 600a FTW. You can have your sissy hutch or jmc, the violin doesn’t make the musician.
  22. Question, if the Russians (or any nation) prefers one candidate for us political office over another, what weight should I as a voter give that foreign nation’s preference?
  23. I can picture her, tall, semi-attractive, but for some reason all I remember about him is that he arrived and went straight to bedroom. then, Porky’s.
  24. Porkys. Long summer day - neighbor kid had a babysitter - she played porky’s for our 6-8 boy neighborhood bike gang so she could go into his parents bedroom (with waterbed) with her boyfriend. the 80’s.
  25. In the football world where does this league rank? Nfl SECSECSEC CFL FBS (non-sec) AAF?
