  1. Joy Taylor, to put it politely sounds like a slut. From my understanding, getting dipped in the company ink cost her a marriage and another serious relationship. There shouldn’t be a double standard. Man, woman, whatever, if you’re fucking coworkers, go find somewhere else to work please.
  2. Well, I’m here to say the hydrogen peroxide in syringe trick works. Little girl threw up 2 cups of chocolate chip cookie dough tonight. Always keep some in the house.
  3. Christin Milioti. Sofia Falcone came in with a bang, became a full on cartoon villain, and went out with a whimper. I get not giving her the Globe.
  4. fOSU victory confirmed. Knowles is looking ahead to his next job.
  5. Great. Make it the policy and defend it. Don’t roll over if some 30 year old like Pavia sues you for 1 more NIL money grab. Is the NFL directing any of this? They probably want linemen and QBs playing more college ball before they have to pay them, but they could probably give a shit about much experience the skill guys have.
  6. Confused that he didn’t declare or they couldn’t throw enough money at him to stay? Or Door Number 3, Brauny promised they’d keep him?
  7. Less than $700k after taxes. Again Sheridanverse, so you’re probably right. I’m sure the girlfriend will invest in his company.
  8. The Yahoo Sports draft guy seems to have a hard on about it. Mentions it every single version of his mock draft. Is it just unique to Yahoo?
  9. WTF happened to Andy’s face? Ari continues to look like a human everything bagel.
  10. It’ll be sugar coated bullshit, but I’m in. I think the most interesting part of the 50th Anniversary Special will be the snubs. I’d predict no Rob Schneider and Joe Piscopo. And continuing to act like George Carlin never existed.
  11. The impossible scenario is that a chunky Canadian girl ages 20 years and looks like Aubrey Plaza.
  12. People that take their kids into the store either enjoy shopping in person or they’re shitty planners. HEB Curbside + Target Curbside should cover almost everything except booze.
  13. The pups would want to walk in -30 degree weather. I was able to walk them during lunch today. I’ll have to walk them at 530am tomorrow. It’s going to be brisk.
  14. SEC Shorts seems to be on the same schedule as SNL. 3 week breaks between episodes.
  15. Swept the Emmys. Swept the Globes. You got the bag. Time to end the facade. https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/shogun-season-2-update-writers-room-producers-1236266521/ Every non-update from Kondo and Marks is we have ideas, we’re writing them down. I would be shocked if they start production on a second season.
  16. Bobby: Texas really wanted Zach Branch, but didn’t want to take another safety. Package deal killed it. Terry (not Ty) Webb is the Texas State DT transfer that Texas is interested in. 850 snaps in 2 years of Texas State. More of a pass rush interior guy than a run stopper. 6’3” 315. 2 years of eligibility. Graduated from Ball High. CJ also thinks it’s not over with Noah Thomas. Different player than Sark normally likes, but makes plays down the field.
  17. He kind of sped through his explanation, but I think it mostly works. Basically, the land he wants to lease had shallow production years ago and dried up. The leases expired because of no production. He believes the Wolfcamp formation is under those leases. So he can take a new leases for “cheap” and drill the Wolfcamp. If he can get production from a couple wells and show a trend, a much larger company might buy his package of leases. Double Eagle is a recent example. OR He do exactly the same thing, but hold on to the leases and develop them himself. He will 1000% need financing for this. A few producing wells wouldn’t be enough to bankroll his entire play. Not in this day and age. But this is the Sheridanverse, so anything is possible. Again there are some success stories. Jerrah’s tall tale. Armand Hammer invested in a few barn burner California oil wells in a company that eventually became Oxy. Hilcorp is probably the best example Pig Pen’s plan. Taking old producing areas that aren’t worth the squeeze for majors, fixing it up/modernizing the equipment/drilling deeper formations, and getting new life out of it.
  18. I think it’s loosely inspired by the Double Eagle guys. Basically you take land that no one wants, drill a couple wells that produce well and flip it. There are many other examples. Bud Brigham started his company with $25k, but that was in 1990.
  19. The Carlin beef is bizarre. Ebersol not letting him host while Lorne was gone is strange. Not acknowledging him during the anniversary specials is baffling. I wonder if Carlin does not knowing what he did to piss them off.
  20. The show’s insistence that Houston doesn’t exist in the O&G business or the medical field is a pretty deliberate choice there TS.
  21. And… the shark has been jumped. Jerrah. Jesus Christ. That is some unhinged shit Sheridan.
  22. I don’t think you’re far off. I agree with the others that stated they’ve heard almost all of the same jokes before. I kept checking the release date to make sure I hadn’t already watched it. I think he’s hit his ceiling and he doesn’t really have anything new to say. I guess a sitcom is next if his stand up material is drying up. His Christmas Special on Paramount was much funnier. I won’t spoil it, but there’s a very funny story about Opryland.
