  1. I think so and it probably played a role in us favoring Faraimo. However, in hindsight and in foresight, that wasn't the smartest position to take. Usually that doesn't bite us in the ass though as miraculously someone like Matai Tagoa'i opens up his recruitment when the board has lost hope.
  2. My buddy says that he taught himself his photographic memory. It may be true, but it probably isn't a coincidence that his sister was #1 in her class also. My friend used different color highlighters to highlight his notes and he had a process where he re-wrote all his notes and then used 4 different highlighters to highlight pretty much every single detail on the page. Then, when it came time for the test he could recall like you described. I learned a totally different way - I would read lots of different books and be able to figure things out during the exam. It worked in most cases but in cases of pure memorization where the teacher used specific text from his lectures like soap bubble lesions or a lesion that looked like a bunch of grapes or a wolf in sheep's clothing you couldn't easily figure things out, you just need to know exactly what the lecturer said - for example in my head I couldn't tell you the difference between soap bubbles and bunches of grapes.
  3. What do you mean? My dad could read a magazine and if you quoted something from it he could tell you what page it was on and where on the page it could be found. I have a friend who could take the boards and recall about 70% of the questions afterwards.
  4. Opposite for me in Georgia some years ago. My dad took my kid to McDonald's in my car. A truck with a trailer hitch backed into it and an employee got the license plate number. The detective said they couldn't prove who the driver was and the owner wouldn't admit to it.
  5. Wow that sucks. Letterman always seemed to love her. She was pretty funny - I liked After Hours. I just wanted to leave, you know, my apartment. Maybe meet a nice girl. And now I've got to die for it! I always thought of her as pretty young.
  6. They are pretty fun with kids too.
  7. I hear Kandahar is lovely this time of year, if you have the means, I highly recommend it.
  8. Probably a football coach - Boys I gotta tell ya', I'm gonna start trackin' y'alls menstrual cycle, cuz you're layin' like a bunch of pussies. The cheerleaders are thataway. This here is the football field (as he spits out a big ball of chew).
  9. What does the Red's first baseman have to do with this?
  10. Maybe, but let's not be too glib. He may never be able to wear a sport coat properly again.
  11. Are Florida, Aggie, and Arky all running QBs?
  12. Was that when everyone was rolling around in Dillo Dirt and got sick?
  13. It's real funny until we see a shit flood in Austin.
  14. A lot has changed since Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini overthrew Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in Iran in 1979, especially the dynamic of Israel-Iran relationship. So your information seems a little outdated. As an aside: https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/iran-news/article-826211 Iran's Khamenei seriously ill, son likely to be successor as supreme leader - NYT Khamenei has served as Supreme Leader since 1989 since the death of Ruhollah Khomeini, the first to hold the title. By JERUSALEM POST STAFF OCTOBER 27, 2024 00:47 Updated: OCTOBER 27, 2024 00:48 Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, aged 85, is reportedly seriously ill, with his second oldest son, Mojtaba Khamenei, likely to succeed him when he dies, a Saturday New York Times report disclosed. The report noted that Khamenei's serious medical condition created a "quiet battle" over his succession. It also stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps would have a say in who would become the Ayatollah's successor. Concern grew over Khamenei's successor after former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash last May. Khamenei has served as Supreme Leader since 1989, when Ruhollah Khomeini, the first to hold the title, died. Report comes after Israel's response to Iran's ballistic missile attack The Times report came shortly after Israel responded to Iran's ballistic missile attack at the beginning of the month by striking numerous military sites early Saturday morning. Iranian officials have said that they do not want escalation with Israel, the Times report added. While attacking military targets in Iran, reports said that Israel had also attacked targets in Iraq and Syria.
  15. I can't believe their scrub guard is playing so well as a freshman.
  16. I just remember him from the Olympics. Did he fight any of the greats of the time?
  17. Just saw that Teófilo Stevenson died about 12 years ago - anyone remember him?
  18. We have a built in 6DOF motion simulator - The good is we can fuck in space and stuff and it really adds to the impact - The bad is that the VR headset keeps popping me when she gives head. I suspect that it will just be a fad.
  19. Why was methanol added to the ethanol? Or was it just poor grade? I was in Northern Saskatchewan years ago and a decent number of the indigenous were blind from methanol poisoning.
  20. Thanks. I'm glad that you recapped - I couldn't take watching us lose to Vanderbilt again. Once was enough. The good news is we are 6-2 going into Fayettenam against a very underwhelming Arkansas team. We should win handily.

Quinn keeps throwing needless interceptions deep in our territory. Cam Williams needs to be replaced. Sark gets way too predictable when bad Quinn shows up.
