  1. Mighty Fine burger with bacon on a Round Rock donut.
  2. My fear as well. The jump from a trailer to a brick and mortar is a big one. They went all in with a gorgeous new location with ~$500k worth of incentives from the City of Buda. The number of extra employees necessary to run the new operation had to be significant. I've been to the new location once and it was great. I usually get my Valentina's fix at Q2 during home soccer matches. I'm worried that both are in jeopardy at this point if they are bouncing payroll checks.

FCito is playing for the MLS NextPro championship right now of Apple TV+.
  4. Terry Black's >>> Original Black's
  5. I think they just got tired of those Alaskan rednecks and just walked somewhere else. Probably hanging around Hawaii now.
  6. This was my first thought. Probably influenced by Forrest Gump.
  7. Not at all surprised about what appears to be permanent stains on his shirt.
  8. Is this about selling extremely comfortable, stylish shoes?
  9. Early on, he used to prank morning shows as a yo-yo expert.
  10. Its a cornbread waffle and it goes at the bottom of the chili. You clearly didn't read the thread title.
  11. Listen to this guy, he knows. Driving down the highway at 70 mph and my buddy says "seems to be running well" - 15 seconds later nothing. Coast to a stop on the shoulder. Cranks fine. Plenty of fuel. Looks like I'll be trouble shooting the HEI this weekend.
  12. Next you're going to say that ligers aren't bred for their skills in magic.
  13. You should really try to make a batch of Texas chili like described by jimmyjazz.
  14. Do my defense - his initial post, which led to the three pages of discussion, had a picture without beans. /truce
  15. To his defense - he didn't have beans in his chili. Just a bunch of other stuff.
  16. I agree, even though my favorite scene comes from Holy Grail.
  17. A pound of spare ribs is about 4 ribs.
  18. There were 1710 people ahead of me in the queue this morning. Not great when there are only 1700 spots at Emo's.
  19. I appreciate that. One of the reasons ribs have such a premium price at most Texas barbecue joints is due to the brisket. Ribs, sausage, and sides are priced for high margins to make up for the tight brisket margins. Maybe this rib centric place will have better prices since they don't have to compensate for brisket. I would welcome a rib joint that had reasonable prices.
  20. I heard presale sold out - not sure if they only allocated a portion of the tickets to presale or if they are sold out across the board. Secondary market has them >$300 a piece already. It would have been cool to surprise the wife with tickets, but I don't think it'll happen.
  21. Damn, that would have been a nice presale to have.
