  4. Per Justin Wells (IT): 5-star WR out of St Louis Missouri, Ryan Wingo, is in Austin and was with the team for their walk-through this afternoon. The 6' 2" 205 pound pass catcher will be joined by the rest of his family this evening.

  6. 'Bags don't beat Bankrolls' is the clear winner.
  7. I don't think there was any indication during the game that he had suffered an injury* - but video from after the game shows Baxter being helped to the tunnel. It looked like he wasn't able to put much weight on his right (?) leg. Other than speculation that he might have been cramping - there hasn't been any info on what exactly the injury was. *Here is the last carry Baxter had in the game (the link should take you to 7:14 in the 4th) - if you watch at the very end before the camera cuts away it looks like Baxter is favoring his right leg
  8. Hard disagree. Worthy and Adonai are possible first round picks. Whittington is the perfect WR3 - does his job and blocks like a son of a bitch and never says peep about how many touches he does/doesn't get. I think this is the best WR trio Texas has had in 20 years. Again - hard disagree. Sanders is probably TE2 in this years draft behind Bowers.
  9. I don't know about 'making it work'. Soldier Field's turf after Friday night high school football games is trashed. They usually getting it looking pretty for kickoff - but the field is torn to hell. Now it hasn't mattered for the Bears - that fandom has been the bane of my existence for 37+ years - but I know Bears players and opponents have complained about the shit turf during pre-game walk-through.
  10. Per Gerry (IT): 4 star safety out of Judson (A&M commit) Myles Davis has scheduled a visit to Texas for the Texas Tech game. Lots of time still left in this recruitment. https://247sports.com/player/myles-davis-46136111/
  11. No idea if this has been talked about - but jeff Howe mentioned on the Longhorn Blitz podcast that he was able to ask Hayden Conner about the offsides that sealed the game. Conner admitted that the hand flex that induced the offsides was something he had been thinking/working on. Hand open: Closed:
  12. Fuck TCU. Warren Thompson scare you? That FSU/Arkansas cast-off that had 4 years to do something in the SEC and couldn't? 1 fucking catch for 18 yards against Colorado. Fuck him. You worried about John Paul Richardson? He's a fucking loser - his dad is Bucky Richardson - losing is in his fucking genes. Fuck him. JoJo Earle? When Texas joins a football league for short people then I'll worry. Fuck him.
  13. Still playing. Now kicking ass for East Los Angeles College.
  14. Muhammad has the fewest targets of all their WRs (who play): Also confirms that Muhammad is backing up Ainias Smith in the slot.
  15. 7 snaps. You'll find him way down at the bottom of this list of DT's (no min snaps):
  16. If you're curious how their highly-ranked DT class compares to Texas' through two games: *min 10 snaps
  17. That 5-star receiver finally, publicly, committed to 0-2 Texas Tech. Guess Joey's tears convinced him to go public. Tweets are out there for those of you who give a shit.
  18. So this is interesting (from last week) - an 'NIL' deal that takes a percentage of future income. Apparently the same company tried to sucker DeMarvion into signing one of these - but he had representation that smacked it out of his hands.
  19. I just put this together based off of the Texas Sports participation reports (warning - they sometimes get updated - so this info is correct as of what they posted today)
  20. PFF grades for Week 1 & 2 below. Week 1 - Rice: Week 2 - Alabama:
  21. Texas - 42 Wyoming - 10 RB's - 180 yards
