  1. Just back from Cinque Terre area - stayed south at Porto Venere cause they've got a pretty good hotel and a good marina for getting in and out on - and took boat around to the cities. Very crowded during the day, but thinned out at night as described. First time there, enjoyed it, but it's pretty crowded at the moment. Also headed up to Bolzano which was great especially above it, up in the Mtns - great hikes, cool tiny little towns.
  2. Bass o matic shall not be forgotten sir:
  3. I thought that was this guy
  4. Yep, but the first two were 15 and 21 Kiloton's respectively. So imagine that 15x bigger and you've got the Hiroshima blast but without the radiation.
  5. Relax. We are going to have a great year, or we will have Gary Patterson as our Head Coach inheriting a great roster heading into the SEC.
  6. Balls of Fury Christopher Walken
  7. Anyone have any insight as to why the Aggy drops cash for this: a) timeshare sales- free golf clubs to survive hard sell? b) create false momentum media coverage for other recruits/ future classes? c) create false momentum for boosters/check writers? d) they did it before so it’s a tradition e) all the above?
  8. I hear Archie and the whole Manning clan were in Charleston for 4th of July house shopping on Folly Beach near the cheese shop, two roads down from the hotel drapes and blind warehouse.
  9. That stadium looks like it was photoshopped from random pieces of other stadiums by middle school students in an introduction to computer graphics class.
  10. Bevo looks like he needs to do some cardio to get in shape for fall camp.
  11. Edit no working: That should say college station is 17th percentile, and 83% of cities are considered safer....
  12. According to these folks: https://crimegrade.org/violent-crime-college-station-tx/ Austin is in the 47th percentile for crime (53% of cities are safer) and a crime grade of "C" College station is in the 87th percentile for crime (17% of cities are considered safer) and a crime grade of "D" But data and facts are not strong players in College station (Bryan Tx is also a "D"), too busy running from all the assaults I suppose.
  13. One step at a time boys, this quiet period too shall pass.
  14. This man is the starting QB for the GD University of Texas. Show some respect.
  15. Disney got a new boss and he's slashing budgets including ESPN (Suzy K says hey, anybody got Namath's cell number?). He just got a two year extension today from the board. I would guess this is just the beginning of SEC trying to put pressure on the extended rights deal. I would not hold your breath that this gets resolved, as Disney has bigger fish to fry. I would expect this to be a 16month push by the SEC that get's amplified into talking points at every SEC game this year and into 24. I could see SEC repeating another 1 year schedule for 25.
  16. You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose Freewil
  17. Dipped OG copenhagen in high school, in class, no spit cup Swam to the buoy off the tip of south padre Island (children's beach) , at night, drunk, and back to beach in a 10 person race. Did not win, but did not die. Drove parent's car into Reynosa at 15 to go drinking - a lot. Two stepped at the broken spoke with a beer in hand - was corrected. Bought a Ranch
  18. Oh I agree 100%. However, you don't see CDC talking to sports Illustrated about how the NCAA can Kiss our Ass. Idiots.
  19. These hayseeds are great theater: a) only Bjork would comment publicly like an ass about this - rubbing NCAA's nose in it has zero upside except to the red ass fan base, b) if there is a school in the SEC that the league office would sacrifice on the NCAA alter on NIL, it's ATM. Adults do business in private, Children do business in the press.
