  1. It's possible that's not the first time she's been on a black 'leather' couch covered in white goo
  2. The bad news- These are terrible. The good news- There are a lot of them
  3. Even better are the pastors that experience a sense of calling and decide to start their own congregations without any oversight, supervision, or support from external or established organizations.
  4. Not his dignity, that's for certain
  5. Not always: USDA Food Product Dating CNN- The truth, and strategy, of food expiration dates
  6. Woah... uttering AND publishing! They're screwed.
  7. That's not a bad trade, though... Funny with a big set of hooters? You could do worse
  8. Gotta be Liberty, what with the "Falkirk" bullshit and all.
  9. This. Summer traffic at the national parks can be especially hellish
  10. Yup. Stay away. It's terrible- rains all the time, and just crawling with homeless/antifa/addicts/hippies. 😏
  11. Possibly off topic (at least this new course of dialogue), but I have some friends and former students who work as legal advocates for persons who've escaped human trafficking (Seattle has quite a bit, being a major port city to Asia). That persons are exploited sexually is tragically factual, the majority of persons trafficked are enslaved in roles that are more "labor" based- Domestic labor, agricultural work, sweatshop production. One of my colleagues often says that the focus on sexual exploitation is important, but it also provides a convenient distraction to the fact that all of us benefit from (in her language "are complicit in") the larger amount of human suffering due to our participation in an economy that emphasizes low consumer costs and high corporate profits over human dignity and thriving. It's a perfect connection to the modern GOP- Focus on sex, use "save the children" as a rallying cry (without meaningful actions), and ignore the things that might implicate and undercut their corporate donors. Back to your discussion of Barbie
  12. True. I'd give the other four guys on my team $1M each to help me out.

Interestingly enough, I found a wad of $5 bills in my ex's nightstand once. (no pics, because you probably already have them).
  14. SeaTac has this new option... really handy: I dropped off my bags and used this to walk right through the check-in/screening process (the time of the appointment doesn't seem to matter, as long as you have one)
  15. Look, all I know is that 1974 had both Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, so it leaps pretty near the top of the list for me. Oh, there were a couple other flicks in there as well- Godfather Part 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chinatown, Death Wish, The Longest Yard, Towering Inferno, The Great Gatsby, Murder on the Orient Express, Foxy Brown, Emmanuelle, Uptown Saturday Night Ummm... is this code?
  16. How terrible their breath was
  17. Should have gone to the Home Depot instead... close to Lowes on Aurora, but in a much less "colorful" location.
