  1. Yes, Bruin. We've been trying to tell you for years that aggy is the weirdest and most delusional species on the planet. Did you not believe us??
  2. Or South Austin's mom?
  3. That is GOLD, esp. the last two lines.
  4. Hey, what's the funky green bill second from the top in the column to the right? That looks crazy rare . . .
  5. ISWYDT
  6. Dametrious Crownover:
  7. Refs and rookie kicker hand one to Cleveland
  8. Gee, you hate to see that
  9. Niner fans seeing the version of Purdy that we saw sometimes in the Big 12 and which was the reason he was available in the 7th round
  10. Yup. Or if they're stupid enough to pass. Like they just did.
  11. My God, Walker is just stupid.
  12. Now that Cleveland is in the redzone, if I'm Shanahan I would have taken a TO prior to the 2 minute warning. Gamble on Cleveland running at least a couple times, my defense holding Cleveland to a FG, and getting the ball back with maybe 1:00 to 1:10 with a timeout left, and try to drive for a game-winning FG.
  13. PJ Walker is turrrrible. Browns get bailed out by a bad call
  14. Yeah, the delusional Ag poster is referring to the 2012 season in which aggy beat Bama, which went on to win the NC game in Jan. 2013 against Notre Dame. Put it on the wall!
  15. You guys don't use the fake continuous hacking cough method of scaring away potential row partners?
  16. I typically get a very small amount of cash for the increasingly rare situations in which a card can't be used, e.g., certain vendors in open-air markets. The last time I was in Europe (a few years ago), I put damn near everything on a Capital One card simply because it didn't charge foreign currency transaction fees.
  17. Bill's reference to EW 1783 makes sense, though 1783 isn't as smooth as the SiB. Regular ol' Elijah Craig would be around the same price and comparable, IMO. The answer a few years ago would have been McKenna BiB (same mash bill, bottled at a higher proof), but not anymore.
  18. At the risk of threadjacking what is supposed to be a Santa Fe thread, I'm curious to know why you both think ABQ sucks. I've never really spent time there -- flown in and out in connection with skiing at Taos -- but I've been intrigued by the mix of attributes that MD mentioned. I know crime (esp. property crime) is an issue, and some people thinking of retiring there are turned off by what sounds like a generally bad healthcare scene. What else about ABQ is a drag?
  19. Alfred Collins made some plays as well. Sorrell had some pressures. It was a mixed bag for the D-line. But as a unit, they've played far better in other games.
  20. He was held on some plays. But I saw plenty of other plays where he was a non-factor without being held. And I feel bad for calling him out because I actually like the kid and think he's going to be a really good player down the road, but he and Ford in particular did not play up to their prior levels against BlowU. I see from another post that Burke may be dealing with a knee sprain, which could help explain his ineffectiveness in that game. If he's hurt and his injury is essentially rendering him ineffective, then the coaching staff bears blame for leaving him out there.
  21. Burke was next to useless in that game.
  22. Great story. Good for him, indeed.
  23. That was my first thought. Which one of you magnificent bastards is it?
  24. Oh, a Tennessee win would certainly be delicious. And that's the way I'm leaning simply because I can't really find it in me to root for the gomers. But I also have visions of Ags getting a glimmer of hope only to see it all dashed into a thousand pieces like a jizz jar being dropped on concrete when the rollercoaster flies off the tracks against the likes of South Carolina or one (or both) of the Mississippi schools. Like I said -- it's a no lose situation for us.
