  1. I would expect that Crane has already thought two or three moves ahead, and has a plan in place. This is not a half assed organization.
  2. Saw him at Bass Concert Hall on UT campus in 87 or so, with a girl who asked me to go with her. So this hits close to home.
  3. Probably pitch a two-hit complete game shutout against the Astros.
  4. /close thread.
  5. So you keep a guy on the payroll with one foot out the door, spending half his time looking for his next gig?
  6. Is Yuli officially out?
  7. I wouldn't want to be the tow-er or the tow-ee.
  8. Now if you had a corch on the field, look out.
  9. Sounds like Morgan Freeman, but is it really?
  10. Pretty close to collie station.
  11. It has closed in the last 5 years. I work in the area. Just before I joined the company I met my boss there for lunch on the sly as I was with a competitor at the time. We had eaten there a few more times as a group, then found out it was closed. I just celebrated 5 years at the company. Never had the Mother Trucker.
  12. You know, my 80ish mother probably has all those ingredients in her fridge. And has had them for at least 5 years each.
  13. Those guys are usually towed into place by a jetski guy. There’s no way they can paddle fast enough on their own.
  14. I member when Schilling pitched for the Astros.
  15. I like Breg's defense at the hot corner better.
  16. This is the bike I bought for my daughter after college graduation to jack around on. Pretty good kit for the $1300 version. https://feltbicycles.com/products/verza-fitness-bike
  17. They were so openly rooting for Philly the entire series until the 7th inning of game 6, then started some perfunctory accolades for the Astros, like they were reading from a script or something.
  18. Yep. not getting a lot of work done today.
  19. Loved All the Light…
  20. Too soon.
  21. Click is a good capable front office personnel guy for a majority of the big league teams who doesn't see eye to eye with his current owner, so it makes sense for there to be an amicable parting of the ways, with a nice pat on the back, and a world series ring, on his way out the door. I would be surprised if this hasn't already been in the works for weeks or months.
  22. Those nine hits were spread over two of the three games also. Team needs to be way more consistent. DFA for errbody.
  23. Seeing the clip of Bagwell makes me wonder if he and Biggio still have some type of contractual agreement with the Astros? Personal services, team goodwill ambassadors, or advisory of some type? Caveat is I have no idea about these sort of things work, but seems to me like it would makes sense from both sides to pay those guys a nice salary to stick around the club and just be bad asses.
  24. Interesting article on Wilson Contreras to the Astros at the trade deadline: https://sports.yahoo.com/report-cubs-astros-had-willson-212041812.html Click was the odd man out in the voting process it looks like.
