  1. Yes - I work projects also and do know how those type of finish out schedules go. Simple obvious things tend to wait to the last minute but drive you crazy every time you walk past it.
  2. That would just make the south tunnel/goalpost offset even more noticeable.
  3. I mean, I assume they are going to fix those blips in the video board, yes?
  4. I'll just say that I didn't do enough bar crawling in Houston when I first moved here in 1989. Got married in 1992 and that was that. Don't know many (any) of these places.
  5. This will all be behind us by the Rice game, right?
  6. One of the posts upthread quoted the US Ambassador. I would assume he has already left the country, correct?
  7. They had sent out a notice several weeks ago that Charlie would not come on the upcoming tour due to an illness. Didn't say it was a terminal illness, although Mick and Ronnie both had videos on Insta or whatever saying they would miss him on the re-started No Filter US tour. Mick just turned 78 so he's not getting any younger either.
  8. So I'm not a Surly 1%'er. Wife's car is 9 yrs old, and has a spot on the front part of the roof that has some paint lifting off. The more you mess with it the more comes off. I've showed it to her before. Sometimes when we travel, we attach a space case to the roof racks. My wife re-noticed the patch this morning, and texted me a picture saying Mrs CTX: "what's up with this?" CTX: "missing paint due to crappy Honda paint of that era vehicles" Mrs CTX: "I think it's from the space case" CTX: "No, just where the sun, wind, rain, beat on the paint, and might have had a chip from a rock or something" Mrs CTX: "Still suspicious of the space case" CTX: "ok"
  9. My oldest kid went to OU for this reason. Also his maternal grandfather was a legacy and he had a Cherokee card, all of which got him basically in-state tuition.
  10. You say this somewhat in jest but in reality, we should have better athletes than ULaLa, and if Sark and the staff are all they’re supposed to be, we should wipe up the field with the Cajuns.
  11. My wife’s cousin in Austin was sort of tangentially involved with that currency trading scam, and lost some of my Mother-in-law’s money on that deal. He did not go to prison with Erxleben though.
  12. One of the ladies in the office (Houston) just came by and said she's had like 20 alerts already related to COVID in the schools. Let's see what this looks like in two weeks.
  13. Saw SRV at the Austin Opera House in 1987 so this hits close to home. Carry on.
  14. I'm about to use the ignore feature.
