  1. Well, it went down about half an hour after that last post. Baby boy popped out on the 2nd contraction she pushed on, before the OB even made it into the room. It was insane and amazing.
  2. I should be joining the club in a few hours. Chilling in L&D while the wife naps before the main event!
  3. The Onion continuing to show how insane our routine mass shootings are better than any actual news source Dear God, don't give them any ideas with the term "existence displacement events".
  4. No, Mr. Gohmert. It's not just that we don't think you have a heart. We think you are the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion all rolled into one.
  5. Yea, the moaning is super annoying to listen to. Looks like Gauff will shut her up shortly though.
  6. Really great country we've got here, folks. https://www.wmtw.com/article/new-hampshire-boy-8-killed-in-shooting-during-family-vacation-in-south-carolina/40158267
  7. I love the smell of freedom in the morning.
  8. Recs for a stream of the Scandinavians today? The TV schedule for this tournament is horrible if you don't have the Tennis Channel.
  9. America: Canada's Diaper
  10. Jesus Christ, here we fucking go again.
  11. Nadal pushed to the 5th by Auger-Aliassime
  12. Apparently my Korean wife is a "chink".
  13. It took all of 2 months living in Decatur, TX for our car windows and sidewalk to have asian slurs written on them. Fuck those people, they were exactly who expected them to be.
  14. Damn, this Canadian dude got a serious serve.
  15. I get to experience that for the first time in the next few days! Although I hear the little guy immediately loses value when he exits the womb. Like driving a new car out of the lot.
  16. Don't be absurd. They shoot pets too.
  17. Goddamn aggies and sooners coming in here and being reasonable. I can't imagine what your boards look like based on our DT, but can we send Sack and Immaculate there? I'm sure they would be happier. And while we're at it, can we also send workswithseed to a YouTube page where kids unbox toys or something of equivalent simplicity?
  18. I'm kind of novice when it comes to guns so please excuse what might seem like a silly question, but do you gun guys like AR-15s so much because the narrow barrel actually hugs your little pecker when you jerk off into it while something like a shotgun barrel barely makes contact?
  19. Yea, it's fucked up. I don't get the pride in being a gun owner though. It's obviously not hard. You don't have to put in any effort or show any degree of responsibility to own a gun. You just fucking pay for it and there you go. I'm not a proud television owner.
  20. Message sent! It may be a futile endeavour, but I'm going to have some extra time at home this fall so I'm thinking of jumping on the Beto volunteer train.
  21. This may have been mentioned by now, but a page right out of their playbook. I know in the late 2000s, there were regularly giant posters of aborted fetuses in front of Gregory Gym. Only difference is those just gunned down are thinking, caring CHILDREN and not a fucking embryo.
  22. This was driven home with the pandemic. When it was a threat to everyone, the money was found to create a vaccine for a novel virus within a year. You think there aren't multiple other diseases that couldn't be cured with the proper funding? But instead, we have to sit around and hope our benevolent overlords Gates, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Musk, etc. decide they want to throw some money at a problem so they can be considered a brilliant philanthropist. Good thing we let the rich continue to consolidate power by buying politicians! Fuck LaPierre. Fuck Fox News. Fuck Abbot and Cruz and all the others.
  23. I'm about to have my first kid, literally any day now. What a disaster of a country we are bringing him into. At least it gives me something to care about and a reason to fight for a less fucked up state/country, however futile that may be. Fuck.
  24. Are you not at all concerned about rising temperatures and more unpredictable weather patterns decreasing arable land and sea level rise displacing tens of millions of people? It seems like those could possibly be factors leading to global famine. And when it comes to freedom, what kind of freedom do the largely poor people who will become climate refugees have when they are forced to abandon their homes, despite not being significant contributors to the problem? Kind of seems like we are robbing them of their freedom, seeing as we, the US, are responsible for more emissions all-time than any other country, much of it well after we knew of the consequences.
  25. Wow, the US has a ranked men's player again? I haven't paid too close of attention outside of semis and finals the last few years, but has there been anyone besides Isner who had been ranked recently?
