  1. He won his bowl game in 2013 and finished 9-4.
  2. Preparing my butthole for what the 2022 appraisal will bring out here in Driftwood.
  3. His ideal weight if he was 11 feet tall
  4. Good info. It's a pretty damn cool looking spider.
  5. PSA there are Zoom interview spots open this evening for Global Entry approval (TSA Pre included). I just had my conditional approval email yesterday and checked on interview schedules. Everything booked for months, expect tonight starting at 530pm. Log into your account and check
  6. Not an expert, but I think that's part of the widow family (i.e. extremely dangerous). They can have all sorts of different markings other than the classic hourglass. P.s. are you still alive?
  7. Same way we feel about your posts
  8. LOL. I started frantically googling "Tom Herman UCF" because I couldn't believe I missed an announcement. That screen shot is hilarious.
  9. She was a fairly major character on Wings for multiple years. This type of stuff scares the shit out of me. I'm 44. I have 3 boys aged 10 and under. I don't consider dying at 54 a reality I want to even consider. Yet people die younger than that all the time. God damn.
  10. Loved him in Grossed Pointe Blank
  11. Quick csb on that Risk map... I took a history class one summer at ACC, must have been 1996. On each test there was extra credit that asked you to identify 5 shaded countries on the world map. One test had a country shaded that I had no clue, but it was pretty damn close to what I knew as "Congo" from Risk. So I went with that. I had no idea it was called Zaire at the time, but he gave me credit anyway, as it was called Congo prior to 1971. And btw the name changed back in 1997.
  12. I must have missed the details. Who was the victim?
  13. Giggity
  14. Whenever they do we'll all be saying "Joooooooy to the world!"
  15. I'd just like to say "fuck the writer of this article". Just couldn't help himself/herself. As if the people that are interested in reading the article didn't know this tidbit.
  16. San Francisco--I love that place every time I go. I could see living there as difficult, but 3-4 days at a time are simply fantastic. Crested Butte, CO--It's changing. The word is out about how awesome it is. But it still has a small ski-town feel. We go every summer and winter. NYC--only been twice, and both were for work. But I found it fascinating. I can see why people that live there get hooked. Charleston, SC--I lived the first 6 years of my life here and my dad was from SC, so we visited 2x per year up until I went to college. I love the town, and I've spent many weeks at Kiawah over the years. I'll lump Kiawah in with Charleston. Driftwood, TX--I was going to put Austin, as I've lived the area since I started at UT in 1995 and had no desire to find a job anywhere else. But there is a reason we moved out to Driftwood 10 years ago. I'm a bit of a homebody, and I love where I live. I'm next to nothing, but 10-15 min from anything I want. It's dark, and it's quiet. And unfortunately everyone is figuring this out. I haven't spent enough time in Seattle to put it on the list, but the very short time I've spent there makes me think it would make my list if I could spend some time in the city.
  17. My guess is there will be only a certain number of FlightPass seats available on each flight, unless you upgrade to the $199/month plan. Like they limit the number of seats eligible for rewards using a reasonable number of miles.
  18. My 10 year old son has been doing those for about a year now. He sat and watched some YouTubes for a few days learning the algorithms. He'd learn one series of moves in a day and make sure he knew it before learning the next. I've never blindfolded him, but I'd be surprised if he can't do it. Just this weekend he was solving it while having a conversation with me. They sell cubes that are super easy to turn--speed cubes. I'm told they drastically reduce your time. I think his best time was ~1 min. They also sell different shapes besides the classic 3x3 cube. 2x2, 4x4, triangular pyramid, etc. He learned the 4x4 at one point but forgot it because he didn't practice much. It's more involved. And then for the truly sick and twisted minds, there's this bad boy, and others that looks worse. My son claims a kid at school can solve it, but I question if he actually means "has solved it". As in, he watched a video and did it once.
  19. You have to think E Hogan is thinking about who his next partner is. He's too loyal to push Bucky out but has to know the end isn't THAT far away. I think E and Rod B would make a good team, but that's because they are the most prepared at the station. They really have to separate those 2 so they can be the anchor in their respective shows.
  20. When Harge first replaced Sean Adams, he sounded completely disinterested, like radio was a short-term gig. FCB and him together we're unlistenable. Part of that may have been because I liked Sean Adams a lot, and Harge wasn't close. I gave them another shot several months later and he seemed more engaged and had more interesting things to say. I hope he has continued to improve, because I like Rod Babers, and this pairing has potential. Of course, this assumes they aren't just shooting the shit for 3 hours.
  21. No skin off my back. It's my SIL. In her family, joke was on my FIL. Private school for 13 years, then 4 years of WF. That had to have cost >$350k.
  22. SIL is a WF grad with dual French and Art History degrees around 20 years ago. That was an expensive education to get a job doing customer service at a credit card company.
