  1. Maybe not wholesome, but subtle enough for kids under 12.
  2. I'm getting to this point. I love Family Guy. Amazing writing and creativity and edgy humor. I can't let my kids watch it because it goes too far and is too overt. The kids do watch BB all the time. A few SOBs here and there and offcolor comments they might pick up on, but certainly nothing worse than i say around the house. They are too young to pick up on the subliminal messages and just outright dirty stuff that only adults get. They like the stupid shit and wonder why I'm laughing at everything else. Really brilliant writing.
  3. I've never laughed harder, for sure. Amazing writing and timely and relevant topics handled in the most immature way possible to exacerbate the point. Fucking love SP. Pretty sure both those guys are geniuses.
  4. They are all great, Gene is tough to beat. Probably a tie between him and Bob for me. The complete deadpan kills me. Any Dr. Katz fans? I loved that show.
  5. Maybe I'm a sucker for puns and innuendo, but I think BB may be my favorite. I don't say that lightly considering the competition. BB may be the most underrated show of all time.
  6. See my post above. I really like mine. Comfortable while skiing, and I noticed an improvement in control.
  7. Awesome update. Thanks for the insight ^ as well.
  8. I watched the bottom half of it for 30 minutes during a conference call. I was scrolling down when I got on the call and I didn't even realize there was a top half. Still mesmerizing.
  9. I bought a lightly used pair of Lange's, and also got some Surefoot fully molded foot inserts and liners for about $1,000. Very comfortable to wear and ski in, but very tight and hard to get on and off, which makes sense since its molded. You obviously ski alot considering your posts so might be worth looking into.
  10. I don't know, but I love that video. There had to be a lot of "what the fuck" going through that bear's head before he took a header into the ground.
  11. Can I fuck her doggy, I mean wolf style? Is husky her voice? Can I pee in her butt, I mean her corner? So many questions.
  12. So any kid friendly activities during Mardi Gras Galveston. Otherwise just cleaning the place for the spring/summer.
  13. Awesome thread, been considering getting into leatherwork, mostly to make watch straps. Haven't found the time to pull the trigger yet but really appreciate this thread.
  14. She British. This is what they do. He hates furners. That said having butter sit out so it can be spread is fucking awesome. (Another British/Euro thing) Butter in the fridge is for the ignant. DEAR BUTTER WARS: Cut that stupid bitch loose.
  15. Bullshit by Kuchar. His image is the good guy. Why stiff a guy with a bullshit 1k adder when you just won 1.3m. Fuck me, you're worth 100M, give the guy 100k and change his life and his kid's lives. You probably get an extra $10M in endorsements for that 100k investment.
  16. They were good at basketball in the early and mid-90s. We won 5 games in football when I was there.
  17. Seems like a typical WB ordering experience.
  18. Give it enough time for teachers to actually learn how to effectively teach it and then give it enough time to be implemented for kids to progress through the entire program and then measure. Are they better at math as a whole than they were before? I'll put up money they are better with CC. Understanding is better than memorization. It's math.
  19. That's good to know. Sounds like it's going to be pure luck.
  20. Funny because I'm an engineer and can do crazy math in my head but usually it's because I see it in a different way than how I was"taught"which was memorization. I just can't see how it's a bad thing to teach kids different ways to understand concepts instead of memorization. Maybe that's why I don't actually do "engineering" and pure design work is getting outsourced to India. My job requires actual thought, not running calculations. I think it's better to have kids understand concepts and figure out the most effective way for them to do it that makes sense for them. Or we can have them memorize a bunch of shit and never have them think.
  21. That could be. Teachers aren't necessarily going to be good at teaching.
  22. So in a society (the United States) that is increasingly dependent on "services" and "knowledge" you are against trying to install additional knowledge and aptitude in a seemingly critical skill?
  23. Is your career based on understanding rather than memorizing? That's what it's trying to do.
