  1. You gotta admit it’s a little weird how often they’ve used the map quest plot device, especially in a hyperspace-faring era.
  2. That’s extremely kind but no, I’m in Atlanta. And no he never tried to bite me. I’m his favorite human for sure. He loves other dogs.
  3. “It appears that they all landed on bullets, head first. Tragic.”
  4. Lots to like about episode two. I’m genuinely interested in what happens next, and waiting a week will suck. Whoever made the comment about the music was spot on. Really good. Production felt a little better too. Loved the shot for shot callback to the Rebels epilogue too (or was it the same scene?). Chopper is still the best character, I love that he’s still a homicidal maniac. New droid with the nerd-Maximus face is also good. It’s a shame about Ray. Sarcasm on… Is Qui-gon the only person to ever die from a lightsaber through the torso? Seems to be a pretty simple injury to come back from. These people who don’t want to be found/don’t want someone to be found really need to stop leaving maps lying around. That’s a helluva tracking device that can report back from another galaxy.
  5. It’s a fair criticism. The story material is going to be the story material, but I don’t know why the production value can’t be more Andor and less Book of Boba Fett.
  6. One would be crazy to second guess Filoni, and his stuff often takes awhile to hit its stride, but I’ve only watched the first episode and I found it slow. And please stop casting known actors in Star Wars stuff, it really takes me out of the immersion. Sabine actor is a good fit. I was thinking about that. You can cast well known actors in unknown parts or unknown actors in well known parts. That works best. Maybe they were assuming most people haven’t watched CW or Rebels, which I guess is probably true, and are trying to capture eyeballs with the cast.
  7. Saw those guys with AUTF in San Francisco a few years ago. Great show.
  8. Sounds like you put Static-X and Snot in a blender. In a good way. And I’m going to see Pantera because I never saw them back in the day and they are playing five miles from my house and I like Zakk Wylde.
  9. Probably already posted but it just came up on my Release Radar. Not sorry.

    High

We had a guys lake weekend a couple weeks ago and someone brought shrooms. 1 gram and within about an hour I was laughing my ass off. Very fun, but nothing visual like LSD gives you. It also wore off very cleanly after a few hours. I’m a fan.

  12. https://x.com/jshadab1/status/1693334651765678540?s=46&t=ijQeM9QF3R373kzho_gbaQ What sucked about it? Genuinely curious.
  13. Ugh that is heartbreaking. But it’s so good to know she’s had 12 great years with you. The rescue service has had no luck so far finding a new home for our little snoofus. Shelters are packed the gills because of all the people who got dogs during Covid and then decided they didn’t want them. He got some good play time this weekend.
  14. I was so sure that dog-person-Gizmo’s voice was Jason Sudeikis (it wasn’t). Nadja was kind of annoying in this one but I still liked it. Who was the actress who played Magic Johnson? She looked familiar.
  15. What, no love for Zorro?
  16. Nothing to see here, just us yellow jackets achieving our final form.
  17. I’ll update when Ed does, but he accidentally bought something at auction..
  18. Arrivederci, Scud. We hardly new ye. IMG_8936.mov
