  1. Damn that pesky Constitution, Trump should just sign an EO getting rid of it.
  2. Because there is a statute that makes it an exception
  3. Yes, but he wants China to eat them too. It’s obvious that he has absolutely no understanding of how any of this works.
  4. If it is resumed, it has to be resumed at the exact point it was halted. If they opt not to resume the game, it goes back to the last completed inning.
  5. Only path to the post season is to win the SEC tournament
  6. Nothing in the rules addresses that. Obviously, it would be stupid to ask for a review of something that has been ruled on, but if you're asking for a ruling on a different aspect of the same play, which maybe the umps didn't consider, then nothing in the rules would prohibit it. On closer reading of the rules, it appears that whether or not a runner touched the white or green bag is not reviewable. The review rules specify whether or not a runner touches a base is reviewable, but only under rule 8-6. The white bag/green bag rule at first is rule 1-7-b.
  7. The rule says that on an initial play at first base, the defense uses the white bag and the runner uses the green bag. The runner is out if he touches "only the white bag". It is appealable, but it's not really clear whether it's reviewable or not. It is not specifically in either the reviewable or non-reviewable sections of the rule. However, whether or not a runner touches a base is reviewable, so maybe it is. Looked to me on the replay like he clearly touched at least part of the green bag.

  17. Cities in the U.S. use several different systems for addresses. In Houston, the address is generally determined by the distance from downtown. Even if you live on a short street, the addresses are usually the same as those of parallel streets nearby. From the City of Houston Addressing and Street Guidebook There is no grid system used in addressing at the City of Houston, the complexity of the addressing prevents it. The City does work in an outward motion when addressing. As you move away from central Houston the addresses will become larger. Generally starting addresses in new subdivisions or existing subdivisions are generated from existing or parallel addresses. Under normal situations addresses continue from existing ranges with 1 off of the lower range so that there is room to add an address. It is practice to always assign a buffer of 2 or 3 to the beginning and end of a block for future development. If it is a completely new area, you use the block grid pattern of parallel streets to determine what to use and to determine centerline directionality.

  23. My son accidentally named my dog Sebastian. When we got him from the SPCA, my son said he looked like the lion cub from The Lion King, so let's call him Sebastian. I laughed and told him that the lion was called Simba and that Sebastian was the crab from The Little Mermaid, but Sebastian stuck.
