Thanks for updates, but wow.  Wtf.  To be this systemically bad with runners on I think has to be coaching.

Confidence is down right now -- just no momentum or belief.

Hopefully TEXAS hosts regional and gets hot.

Even with the last month of play, I doubt any host wants to see Texas as its 2. No telling which Texas shows up. To be fair, the defense has been consistently bad and the pitching has been consistently mediocre.  It’s the offense that went from overcoming the first two issues in most games to not doing so.

it’s almost like the team saw in Norman how far from elite they are that they just welp’d the rest of the season away.

Sure looked like defeated team today -- hopefully just fatigue.

Season seemed long -- maybe playing postseason games will give them a spark

Going into postseason with no momentum. Yack. Glad I was on a plane and missed it. A lot of problems with this team.

Seems to be missing leadership and someone who digs them out of tough spots -- just not a mentally tough team.

I hate to say it, but I don't think we would have won many more games with Miranda Elish playing as we still would have had a SS who bobbled too many balls that should have been caught and/or made errant throws to 1B.  Janae Jefferson has also played poor defense at 2B, recently.  The catcher position was/is an issue.  Hell, so is 3B.  Base-running also is not good these days.  It sucks that we wasted a very good outing by O'Leary versus OSU yesterday.

We need an upgrade in talent at almost every position on this roster.  I don't see Corona, Popelka, A. Washington, etc. ever being elite players who can help us beat OSU or OU.  Hitting the transfer portal is a great idea for Mike White (MW).  He needs to be as proactive as Kenny Gajewski was last year.  MW needs to use his Australian accent and softball acumen to his advantage when recruiting players in the transfer portal.

Here is the million dollar question: will Miranda Elish play for UT next season?

Mike White is an idiot -- 2 on and no outs with 3-0 count lets Smith swing into a weak pop out to centerfield...

Runners 1st and 3rd... one out

Horns hit into DP...  FUCK!!

5-1 thru 6th

Great job with the updates/comments, LT !    Was not able to see or follow the game.

MW has not done well this year.

-  Key was OKSt game with Whitaker PH with bases loaded.   Pressure/experience a factor for a freshman.   K Washington was avail (LH batter) who HR'd against Iowa St and singled today.     Didn't need a HR, just a single.  Even go with A Wash, freshman, but with a compact swing. We beat OKSt and confidence is back.   Shea deserved to win that game.   Then he brings her out to pitch against Iowa St.

-  Reviewing box score,  Tech scored 3 runs in top of 5th with 2 out.   Unknown reason he pulls Jacobsen for Day with 2 outs, no one on.   Day gives up 2 singles, BB, and PB,  then he brings back Jacobsen who gives up a 2 run double.   Shea returns in the 6th.    Terrible.

-  Rhodes was 2/3 against Iowa St but did not play today.

-  Ryleigh White did not appear.   Seems to have regressed,  certainly not improved over the year.

-  I am beginning to think Chelsea Spencer (former asst) and Kailee Cuico (grad asst) were very key for this team and Mike White for instruction and morale.   Not impressed with the new asst Bartlett.

There should be some significant changes during the off-season....for the better.  White is a good coach and knows changes musypt be made.  We shall see.

So even if they got through that regional (only host not a 1 seed) they’d have ou waiting to run rule them twice more.

Any of the top 3 would demolish us/anyone in the 13-16.

Wait, we could potentially host without being a 1 seed at our own regional? How?

NCAA announced 20 pre-determined sites. 16 will be regional hosts and 8 will host supers. Duke wasn’t one of the 20 but Texas was

Great info -- and agree too many fielding and base running mistakes all season.  The hitting approach in key AB's has really been disappointing as well.

I hope MW makes some staff changes, because this year has been quite a drop off in performance even without Miranda...

Bracket getting a lot of hate. Four conference supers matchups of seeds hold (Tenn/Mizzou, Texas/OSU, Kentucky/Alabama, ASU/UCLA).

UW was pissed at how low they were seeded (#16)

I'm already preparing myself for an absolute love fest in baseball for the SEC.

How in the world does a team 9 games below .500 in conference make the NCAA tournament?

ISU got in at 7-14 in Big 12 play.

The conferences/programs opting out may have really given the committee a lot of wiggle room for at-large
