Bama baseball betting brouhaha

How did that guy think telling the sports book employees that he had inside info on the game was going to help convince them to let him place the bet?  It's hard to be surprised by how stupid people can be, but every once in awhile someone manages to do it.

Did he.... think that the betting limits are in place to protect the bettor, and not the casino? Lol

I would imagine that even a $2500 bet on college baseball would trigger further investigation, much less 100K

I have to think that was the first time they ever tried it.  They were too dumb to have ever managed to pull it off.  Their plan sounds like it was concocted at the tail end of a 3 day bender and they did absolutely no research in to how sports book work.
