July 13, 20241 yr Fucking Yates is nails. Big hit by Nate, let’s take the series tomorrow and get our heads screwed on over the break…

July 13, 20241 yr First time in ages I've been able to actually sit and watch an entire Rangers game in its entirety. It was not that much fun and somewhat frustrating, not altogether encouraging, but got the W despite shortcomings. I'll take it. A series win would sure be nice.
July 14, 20241 yr I found a good place from which to watch the Rangers beat the Astros. Ok—fair enough. Is there any bad place from which to watch the Rangers beat the Astros?

July 14, 20241 yr WTF, did Adolis trip and fall on the way to first? Looked like his battle with the lazy every now and then. Jogging out of the box
July 14, 20241 yr Maybe Adolis is saving his energy for the HR Derby. At least it won't mess up his swing and timing.
July 14, 20241 yr After as disappointing a first half as you could have had coming off a title, we hit the break 4 losses behind Houston and either 4 or 5 behind Seattle. Seems like we’re going to have to have some kind of 9 of 11 streak to really get back into the mix, but right now I’ll take it. Rest up a few days and hopefully get Jung and Mahle within a couple of weeks….
July 14, 20241 yr Nice series win Rangers over the Astros! Hopefully that’s a sign of things to come after the All Star break!
July 15, 20241 yr Need to make some serious hay after the break if they want to be a part of the party. August schedule is not conducive to a big surge.
July 15, 20241 yr The Athletic NYT with an oral history of Adrian Beltre. My favorite player ever. Should be free if not try this link https://archive.ph/Ddo1c The Godfather’: An oral history of Adrián Beltré’s Hall of Fame career https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5630345/2024/07/15/adrian-beltre-hall-of-fame-oral-history/
