He actually had a broken hand? Whoopsie daisy…“ it’s not up to Yordan in when he’s allowed to pick up a bat again.

June 20, 2025Jun 20 Yall are insane. He’s pitched 33 times and given up runs in 3 of them. respect the process. Edited June 20, 2025Jun 20 by Wulaw Horn

June 20, 2025Jun 20 Dumb that he didn’t steal on the first pitch of the Paredes AB. You don’t string hits together against a guy that good. dont care what his era is.
June 20, 2025Jun 20 Sparks just told a story that Kemp is on the A's pregame now and this series he said that Altuve was one of the best teammates he ever had. Booooooo. Boooooo.

Boooooo. We need more likable former teammates to get media jobs. what’s Brantley up to? Do the guardians have any openings? Marisnick got any connections to the Marlins? how can McHugh get more airtime than just pre/postgame Braves broadcasts?
June 20, 2025Jun 20 I’m more mad that we fucked around so much this game and are going to lose. Terrible situational baseball 2 innings in a row.
June 20, 2025Jun 20 I mean, he already did it once. Put him on for the double play. But what do I know?

He’ll say he liked Hader against the lefty Kurtz and his .143 BA/ .179 SLG against lefties more than righty Urias’ .219 BA/.313 SLG against lefties bitch at Espada all you want for the decision, but once it’s made, your pitcher has to execute better than throwing that 4th pitch in nearly the same (meatball) spot as the first. June 20, 2025Jun 20 Run differential of +13 for the series, but split the series. Cosmic payment for that Rays series came due pretty quickly.

June 20, 2025Jun 20 That was a good read. It is in fact hard to hit with a broken hand. I am hoping the 1st round pick catcher they have in the minors works out long term. Yainer is a bad catcher and has the body type that's going to lean toward fat as he ages. Edited June 20, 2025Jun 20 by kevwun

I think Yainer could be the answer at 1B when we give up on Walker if the other guy gets ready. Like- maybe 2027 Yainer moves to 1B most days and back up catcher for 40 or 50. I think there's a ton of talent in Yainers bat and I think it comes out- but maybe not. I don't mean 750 ops- that's pretty much a guarantee to my way of thinking- I mean 850 or 900 and knocking on the door of MVP if he does that at catcher. Like- Pena type year this year.

Cautiously optimistic the end analysis plays out. the Altuve and parades numbers vs expected are crazy. I agree Altuve’s career numbers are such a large sample size you have to assume seasonal numbers will continue to follow the same but I’ll always worry Father Time catches him and he turns into garbage. 4.5 more years is a loooong time. but I guess the next 4.5 months are all we care about now Edited June 20, 2025Jun 20 by UTexasFight
