Cleveland recs?

Don't laugh.

Going to a conference in Cleveland next week--because apparently my organization hates me. Wife will be with me for the first few days, so any good diner places are a must.

Have any restaurant/bar recs? Plan on doing Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at some point, but that's about it so far.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I’ve said this before on here and TOS but Cleveland is great for a few days. Really good restaurants and beer.

Great Lakes Brewery is cool. West side market is great to walk around and try some stuff. Those are right next to each other and there is plenty of stuff around that area.

Greenhouse Tavern was probably the best meal I had there. Butcher & The Brewer is right next to it. That was also good.

HoF is cool as is The Christmas Story House, if you’re a fan of the movie.

No trip to Cleveland is complete without a meal at Sokolowski's University Inn.  Sausage, pierogis, stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikash, etc.

Lucky's for breakfast is solid.  Sausage gravy and homemade biscuits with a side of pecan crusted bacon.

Prosperity Social Club is an old school joint that's good for drinks and food.

Go to West Side Market to people watch, drink, and eat.  While there, do not leave Cleveland without getting a few pounds of the best beef jerky on the planet at J & J Czuchraj Meats.

Another vote for a filling lunch at Sokolowski’s.  JACK Casino is decent and East 4th Street has numerous bars and restaurants to get you through the misery of being in Cleveland.  Fun game - count how many Cavs/Lebron jerseys you see while you’re there.

Is Cuyahoga Valley National Park worth visiting, and if so what part?

I've been. Drove through the park and hiked a few spots. Felt more like a really nice, really large city park than a National Park. I did no research ahead of time though, so there may be a lot that I missed. I would still recommend visiting if you're just wanting to get outside.
