  1. Past hour
  2. It's the OU way. They are a declining program. This year was their high water mark. Venables will likely be out at the end of next season. Then they will begin the cycle of mediocrity until the landscape of college football shifts again.
  3. Greenland is going to kick the shit out of us.
  4. I’m in a dark mood. I think I might just go to the Bing with Tony.
  5. Don’t laugh, it’s coming soon to UT
  6. How does Kentucky have a lot of NIL money? I guess horse breeding farms and coal?
  7. Kinda crazy that Terry's name hasn't come up at all (yet!) in this craziness. I'm not trying to wish it into existence, but a high 4-star that didn't play and doesn't really have a position? Surprised he's not on Kentucky's roster already.
  8. Even if all they gave him was a meal plan, they significantly overpaid.
  9. OU gave parker pornstache 800k?
  10. Massive upgrade for his bank account. Massive downgrade for the guy throwing to him

  12. Update from Bama 247 - Coleman, Smothers, a new WR and new RB, and a few others. ********************************************************************************************************************************** Sunday Scoop: Breaking down the latest Alabama transfer portal buzz Brett Greenberg (Bama 247) Sunday Scoop: Breaking down the latest Alabama transfer portal buzz Sunday Scoop: Breaking down the latest Alabama transfer portal buzz Brett Greenberg (Bama 247) The official NCAA Transfer Portal window opened on Jan. 2 and runs through Jan. 16. Alabama has brought in eight new additions for the 2026 roster and the work is not close to done for head coach Kalen DeBoer, general manager Courtney Morgan and the rest of the staff. Oklahoma State tight end Josh Ford, NC State running back Hollywood Smothers, Virginia Tech linebacker Caleb Woodson, Michigan interior offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn, USC defensive lineman Devan Thompkins, Mercer defensive back Carmelo O'Neal, North Alabama punter Adam Watford and Syracuse long snapper Ethan Stangle make up the current group of incoming transfers for the Crimson Tide. ALABAMA TRANSFER PORTAL TRACKER: Latest updates on who's coming and going ALABAMA 2026 ROSTER TRACKER: Who's coming? Who's going? Who's staying? Who are the other names to know? Which prospects have already taken visits, who we are tracking closely? Who is still on campus? Bama247 breaks down all of the latest buzz heading into Sunday afternoon/early next week! MULTIPLE WIDE RECEIVERS ON CAMPUS OVER THE WEEKEND! - The big one is No. 1 portal pass-catcher Cam Coleman, who spent two seasons with Auburn coming out of Phenix-City Central (Ala.) High School. Coleman arrived on campus on Friday for his trip and left campus later Saturday night, which Bama247 noted then. The 6-foot-3, 201-pounder and former five-star in the 2024 class also took trips to Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech over the last week or so. Bama247 was told the trip to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) over the last two days went very well and, to no surprise, new receivers coach Derrick Nix is leading the way here. The former Auburn offensive coordinator during the 2025-26 season is playing a strong role in the Coleman sweepstakes and it wouldn't be shocking if a final decision was made very soon. Bama247 is continuing to work the phones, but one thing that is certain? Alabama is squarely in the mix for one of the most electrifying prospects in the country. - Bama247 shared another note late Saturday night after learning that former NC State receiver Noah Rogers made it to campus for his visit earlier this afternoon and is expected to wrap up the trip in Tuscaloosa (Ala.) at some point on Sunday. The Rolesville (NC) native tallied 35 receptions for 478 yards and a touchdown in his freshman season in 2024. He hauled in 33 receptions for 441 yards and two touchdowns in his second year with the Wolfpack during the 2025 season. Bama247 is hearing some positive things when it comes to Rogers' experience on campus so far and will continue to track very closely heading into Sunday afternoon/early next week. THE LATEST WITH A RECENT PORTAL ADDITION... - As reported on Friday night and confirmed early Saturday morning, former NC State running back Hollywood Smothers is at Texas for a visit after publicly committing to the Crimson Tide earlier this week. Bama247 is continuing to work the phones when it comes to the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder and ACC leading rusher (85.4 yards per game). As far as the enrollment status with the University of Alabama goes, it has been confirmed that is the case. If this doesn't show just how wild the transfer portal is, I am not sure what will. Stay locked into Bama247 for continued updates. ANOTHER RUNNING BACK WORTH KNOWING! - Bama247 learned of another name to know when it comes to the running back position early Sunday morning with Makhi Frazier. The 5-foot-10, 218-pounder led Michigan State in carries (116) and rushing yards (520) across nine games (7 starts) in 2025. He missed three of the final four games due to an injury. A visit to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) feels like a possibility, but Bama247 is still digging for more when it comes to Frazier. Ohio State hosted the running back over the weekend. SOME OFFENSIVE LINEMEN TO TRACK... - Former LSU offensive tackle DJ Chester wrapped up his Alabama visit over the weekend and Bama247 is hearing positive things coming out of the trip. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder has also seen Georgia Tech, Baylor, South Carolina and Mississippi State before since entering his name in the transfer portal. Offensive line remains a massive need for the Crimson Tide and the former Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (Ga.) standout is absolutely a name to know. - Alabama extended an offer to Cal Poly offensive line Racin Delgatty late Saturday night. Several other programs have jumped in on the 6-foot-4, 310-pounder with two years of eligibility remaining including: Michigan, UCLA, Northwestern, Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, USF, Colorado State, Washington State, Oklahoma State, Boise State, San Diego State, Oregon State, Fresno State, UMass, Wake Forest, Hawaii and New Mexico State. Cal Poly was home to former Alabama tight end Josh Cuevas, who followed (Kalen) DeBoer over the Crimson Tide from Washington. A visit to Alabama has been lined up for Wednesday, Jan. 14, he shared later on Sunday morning. Bama247 will have more then. CIRCLING BACK!? - Michigan offensive tackle Ty Haywood: The former four-star recruit in the 2025 class, who was committed to Alabama for many months before flipping to the Wolverines last January, arrived on campus for a big visit on Saturday afternoon as reported by Bama247. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder appeared in three games (15 snaps) with Michigan in the 2025 season (Central Michigan, Maryland, Texas). The love for Alabama was very strong during the recruitment process, hence the long commitment with the Crimson Tide and that has not faded based on what Bama247 is hearing. Haywood is expected to roll right along with with his trip in a very familiar place and all signs continue to point to the Denton (TX) native potentially landing with Alabama after one season in Ann Arbor (Mich.). - Bama247 shared a note on Friday morning that communication between Alabama and Kentucky defensive lineman Javeon Campbell (Frankfort, KY) picked up in a big way over the last few days. That continues to hold true and a visit to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) continues to feel like it could take place. The 6-foot-5, 245+ pounder was very high on the Crimson Tide during the recruitment process and Bama247 has learned that there is a strong mutual interest here. Campbell, who was ranked as the No. 1 prospect in Kentucky as part of the 2025 class, is certainly a name to know going forward. ANOTHER SPECIALIST? The Crimson Tide has added a long snapper (Ethan Stangle) and punter (Adam Watford) over the last few days and the work isn't done, per multiple sources. Bama247 has learned that former Marshall place kicker Lorcal Quinn is a top name to know when it comes to rounding out another big group in the specialists world. The Donaghmore, Ireland native entered the NCAA Transfer Portal earlier this week and the Crimson Tide quickly got into contact with the 6-foot-1, 188-pounder. Quinn played one season with the Thundering Herd in 2025 after being ranked as the No. 1 kicker in the 2025 cycle, per Kohl's Kicking Academy. Quinn went 21-of-26 on field goals last fall, while hitting 4-of-6 attempts on field goals 50-yards or more. He earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors following the 2025 season after not playing American football until last year. This is another prospect, who Bama247 is paying close attention to over the next few days. NEED TO KNOW! The NCAA Division I Administrative Council in October enacted new transfer rules that shifted the way that the portal calendar works for FBS and FCS athletes: Instead of the transfer portal window opening in early December, as it had in recent years, it will now stretch from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16. The NCAA eliminated the spring transfer portal window.‌ Unlike in previous years when graduate transfers could enter at any time through the spring window, they are required to utilize the same Jan. 2 to 16 window as everyone else. Previously, players whose school experienced a coaching change were able to enter the transfer portal immediately over a 30-day period. Now, players must wait five days until a new coach is hired to trigger a 15-day window. That window is triggered only if a coaching change happens after Jan. 2.
  13. Yeah, forgot about Parker because he's dead to me.
  14. Yeah honestly I couldn't remember as I was typing that out. Hard to keep track of who's in officially, who's said they're in but not official yet, who we're trying to bring back, and the status of those final negotiations. We've already brought Christian Clark back from the brink once and now he's maybe gonna bail again, lol.

  16. OU stupidly paid Livingstone double what we would’ve.
  17. Still gotta go, but with regrets and a lot of questions
  18. Zina is coming back last I saw. Also, he flashed enough this year that he belongs in a different category than Barnes or Clark imo. It’ll always depend on the player. Freshman that have an impact right away aren’t getting pay cuts. Colin Simmons didn’t get a pay cut.
  19. looks pretty bad ass for smoking some drones
  20. What if she was a hot queer billionaire nurse?
  21. This is a ridiculous argument. The environment has changed drastically. It is much harder to avoid politics now compared to 40 years ago.
  22. For the next eight months, any aggy that crows about their quality loss to Miami should be met with the following: Were you impressed last year when Texas lost to Ohio State? At least we won two playoff games first. And, we managed to score five touchdowns in our home playoff game.
  23. Guarantee he will tout this as an “accomplishment” even though the rates will never change. Just like his 9 wars or whatever he claims he stopped.
