Nope, I don't want everyone to think like me as then they'd all be crazy. And I openly acknowledge my vision of what may happen is just my vision and it could be incorrect. You leave no room for alternative options most of the time. Opposing view points or perspectives are not worth considering. It's fine, I love you just like you are. Mainly I dont think Sark will change his behavior as he has shown zero willingness to do so. Further, in history on any topic, when there is a lot of smoke someone is fanning the flames. In this case, I don't claim to know who is fanning or why, but someone absolutely is somewhere. This leads me to conclude there is a very real possibility. Whereas you state your position on the matter as fact not opinion. Again, with no margin for error. You no more know about what CDC is going to do than I do. Sark wasn't his choice and making the playoffs is a reasonable expectation for both CDC and fans given the resources Texas has at its disposal. So is winning at least 1 of 3 games against the top team in the conference and making the conference championship. Rather than continuing to keep pace with the Georgia, IU, OSU, Aggie, Tech and Oregon teams of the world we are showed a huge drop in production rather than improving year over year. Further, squandering known talent so visibly as we are with Arch is a bad look and all media are starting to point out Sark is the issue and not Arch. That reality reflects poorly on a AD and it absolutely has negative impact on recruiting. I do know that many fans and media are very aware of the issues Sark's team continues to show. I am certain CDC is equally aware. That the possibility exists of change is pretty obvious for many. Some refuse to acknowledge realities. Particularly that college football is a billion dollar business and what happened or how things used to work don't anymore. Will a change happen, I think it possible perhaps likely. Lots of indicators to support that position. Will there be a complete overhaul of the staff under Sark, also a very real possibility. See... I don't want or expect you or anyone else to think like me because it requires some objectivity and consideration of all possibilities. So for others to think like me it would require them to be honest about the state of Texas football, honest about the personality Sark has displayed, and willing to acknowledge they might be incorrect on their position. I know better than to expect any of that from this place or anywhere. Notice how I never told you to deal with it nor laid down absolute certainty of my position? I still love you amigo even when we disagree so don't take this as me slamming you as a person. I think you're good people and that matters more to me than your opinion, my opinion or who ends up being correct.

If it's only pedophiles who vote democrat, it's not justice. It's obvious though that nobody is getting charged with anything. They'll seal the files because of "ongoing investigations into prosecutions" but no charges will be brought. It'll just be dotard and his minions rage tweeting that all the democrats are pedophiles are charges are imminint--coming in two weeks tops. Over and over again for the next three years. Maga will be satisifed that all the lib pedophiles are going down and Dear Leader is totally vindicated because Bondi says so.

bolverk started following Ken Burns: The American Revolution 11/16

A few months ago, I came across this video about the American Revolution from the same guy who did that "Checkmate Lincolnites" one from a while back, if any of you recall it. It's a tad over 40 minutes, so be prepared for its length, but I find his discussion of not just the politics but also the economics fascinating, especially when contrasting the Puritans and merchant classes in New England (along with their history) against the landed gentry (i.e., planters and slave holders) in the South a worthy one to make. Anyway, there's more to it, but I think this makes for a nice complementary piece to last night's episode.

I don't see Steve Sarkisian stepping down from his current gig to be an OC in the NFL. But maybe.

Is that an acute injury? How can a calf strain get that bad? -
If he were the only one saying shit it would be one thing. He’s not. has CDC ever weighed in on Dianna Russini’s drive by piece saying he was interested in the NFL? Has CDC come out in the past month and said he’s behind Sark? I ask because if he has I have missed it.

Are we just unable to link it or what

Ya he gone

Or is it Elko? I mean that is NOT going to happen. But could you imagine the explosion in Collie Station if it did?
-
Yeah. I'm coming around to the idea that there shouldn't be any pardons at all. Just an appeals process and the death penalty for prosecutors found to be monkeying with evidence.

If we were to fire Sark after firing Herman only to hire Riley I would burn all my UT shit.
-
Maybe Sark doesn't want to be a HC in the NFL? He's set for life with whatever he's made here in Texas and whatever he leaves town with. Unless his wife spent it all. LOL Asst jobs in the NFL seem a lot less pressure cooker and if it doesn't work out with one team, it's easy to get on with another. Then there is always the TV booth.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

Good hire. And makes harder for Penn state to recruit in the MD-VA area where they have historically pulled a lot of talent from. -

Not sure, and neither are you. No one knows. At his time at Texas he hasn't been in this particular scenario. The rest is all speculation and trying to pattern-match the past with the present and future. Yes, he's had some shitty teams, but he improved them every year until now. Did he fix everything all at once? Nope. But he improved. Now he's dealing with self-inflicted problems. He's probably going to get the chance to fix that, too, due to money and circumstances.

Also, if you like JM, NFL, & free shit, they have an NFL predictor on their app. Pick 8 games a week, just win, no line, you get points. I’ve accumulated two free regulars this season, it takes maybe a minute a week to do.
