  3. Long pick-6 for Minn.
  4. Bobert Sanchez would have at least taken a red card.
  5. Cool start. Cool.
  6. "Ari Wasserman has never completed in any real sport at any real level in his life. " Not so fast, my friend. Are you not familiar with the renowned sport of competitive eating? This asshole lost the Mustard Belt to Joey Chestnut in last June's famed Nathan's Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest when Chestnut downed 70.5 dogs in ten minutes. Two things for the record: One, Joey Chestnut is neither related to nor acquainted with Joey Freshwater, and, two, Wasserman didn't actually participate in this official International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE)-sanctioned competition, although he looks like he could be a star.

  13. Looking at the remainder of Tech's regular season schedule, they should be favored to win 'em all, given that not a single one of their opponents is currently ranked. That said, they do have several who remain undefeated (still very early in the season) or have one loss (notable games...noted): @Houston (3-0) beat Colorado. Kansas (3-1) beat West Virginia; lost to Mizzou. @Arizona State (3-1) beat Baylor; lost to Mississippi State. BYU (3-0) beat ... UCF (3-0) beat the Browbeaten Belichicks last night. It's way too early in the season. Still, the Red Raiders dominated Utah (their only ranked opponent) yesterday with a couple of interceptions and false start penalties keeping the Utes in the game. That crowd at Rice-Eccles was rowdy early in the game. As a Tech fan, it's refreshing to see them have a real chance to contend for something for the first time in 17 years, with a decent shot to go undefeated heading into the Big 12 championship to face any of the above or Iowa State, TCU, or Arizona (all undefeated). Again, way too early, but they could very well find themselves in the playoffs against Texas A&M in the first round. My gawd, the prospect of Tech beating the Fightin' Fake Army in the playoffs is so enticing that every Longhorn, including me, should rootin’ for the Raiders the rest of this season - at least until the universe implodes on itself if Texas and Tech meet in the NC game. Current playoff projections from The Athletic:
  14. The Denver rebrand in the 1990s was not the worst-executed, but it spawned a lot of terrible, worse executed sameness.
  15. the first 2 throws were somewhat tentative/short armed but catches were made. the TD to the TE was a duck but got there. Then he hit the crossing route to Moore with a great throw in the 2nd qtr and he was really good from there.
  16. Man, that RB from Mich St, Makhi Frazier, is electric with his cuts. Dude reminded me of Simon and Clark. Would love to have that kid on our roster. He and Chiles were the only reason I stayed up for the entire game Not to mention Makai Lemon for USC is a freak. That kid needs to be thrown a bag from us because he's built different.
  17. Imma you look great. Losing weight? Also missed a great your mom set-up with the bone sliding right out.
  18. LOL, city kicks the ball away to delay the restart, no card. Arsenal got 2 guys sent off for that last year. Now it’s fine.
  19. Seems like NIL would give them a lifeline. Why else would anyone go to Nebraska?
  20. Looks like a hell of a spread. Great work!
  21. He probably thinks Kuwait started the war with Iraq. Or Poland and a dozen other countries started it with Germany in WWII. Because somebody around him that's pro-Russian told him that Ukraine started it.
  22. Well I much prefer entering the bye week with Arch having a great game than a bunch of question marks and calls for Campbell to get all the snaps in practice before Florida.
