  1. Past hour
  2. No matter which coach called it, our "defense" on Vandy's 4th and 19 Houdini escape from its own 2 is what told me we had to see massive changes on that side of the ball. It was among the least excusable plays in Longhorn football history. Stowers being wide open on that long TD at least could be explained away as poor communication on the back end.
  3. The tariffs are applied to raw materials too. The US does not grow latex, it is all imported. All tires that include latex) I think it's all of them, there are synthetic/petroleum sources but I think all tires have at least a blend) have the tax. If they were made offshore then they would be taxed on the final product too. I bought my new tires in January because of this even though they were made in USA because the latex came from southeast Asia.
  4. I laughed at Manousos driving off bare-ass in the ambulance
  5. On another note, that's the OU women's BB coach. Not bad. Would.
  6. same thing Patterson recommended... same thing Greg Robinson did... let dudes hit the ball. don't get cute on defense. As a buddy of mine says, "D-Line, just go forward. Safeties, don't get beat deep. LBs and CBs just make plays. You've all been doing this since you were little."
  7. to be fair, if you are making the change, no reason to get within 10 yards of the discussion right now. so it's all TBD imo.
  8. She must already be in town for Christmas.
  9. I believe you and defer to you, I just mean that to continue the level of mainstream, broad critical AND commercial success (and numbers) a la the Thanos arc, they've fumbled pretty badly and it seems that reverting back to RDJ and Chris Evans is an acknowledgment of that. The future is obviously to introduce the "new class" of actors who can take MCU back to the top on another 10 year arc, but it doesn't feel like they've quite found their footing there yet. It's like a football team who drafte dthe QB of the future in the first round but it was a bust and now they are bringing back Joe Flaco or something until they can reset.
  10. Now we know that Sark's offense wasn't running as good as it was because he had to help coach the defense. So this move is a positive. LOL
  11. Disagree. I hate both sides and mostly vote dem.
  12. Yea I think that tracks with the OL problems at least partially being his fault. I'd heard back in the first part of the season he and Flood were butting heads a bit but it was just a vague statement along thiose lines. For all I know they were arguing about the best bbq spot in town.
  13. #101st pass defense in the country isn't bad??? Our secondary and PK's coverage calls almost cost us Vandy game, Arkansas was torching us both on ground and in air until their QB got hurt, Kentucky looked like they had Tom Brady back there, we made Stetson at Georgia look like early season Ty Simpson.....4 of the last 5 games of the season we gave up over 30pts a game.
  14. Made the change now for recruiting rather than wait until Jan 2nd. BOOM already recruiting, hopefully with a truckload of whiteboards.
  15. They’ve been crying forever that they can’t host weeknight games because they’re sprawled suburban campus just can’t handle the traffic. Totally unique problem for the town of Norman fucking Oklahoma. There’s zero reason to shut down schools that end hours before the game. Even the university doesn’t have classes that late but I can at least see moving finals up and closing so the students and others can tailgate. But the public school thing is so fucking stupid. They think it’s some flex that football is soooo important. Just reinforces the Okie stereotype. Fuck ou and fuck Norman.
  16. I know the internet rumormongers said that PK would look at USC, but I have to think that job might be race Nansen would love to win. Also, Nansen worked with new Cal coach Lupoi at Washington (with Sark!). I think he has great options if Muschamp wants his people in.
  17. "no more free access throws"
  18. Saban knows great assistants obviously. He publicly predicted both Muschamp and Sarkisian would be great head coaches because like lots of all time greats, not even he knows exactly what it is that made him uniquely effective in the head coach role. But it tells anyone who's paying attention that purely as coordinators, those two are elite.
  19. Boise State and Utah were ranked in the top 12 those years.
  20. The president openly accepting bribes is apparently now just something that happens.

  22. Boom going to turn Colin loose oh boy. And the secondary was awful, he knows it.
  23. https://www.threads.com/@united24.media/post/DSc-2vXDNv-?xmt=AQF0w46n9WENF60bCBgphifo1ngJves71Ub0EeoRplVIeg Nomma Zarubina, a Russian national accused of spying for Moscow, thought she could get away with it—until a series of drunken, threatening texts to an FBI agent blew her cover. From cozy selfies with Russian officials to drunken rants, Zarubina’s reckless behavior led her straight into federal custody. Here’s how a spy’s late-night texting spree turned her espionage mission into a self-inflicted disaster. Read the full story and more at united24media.com. Link in bio. Author: daly_operation ^I mean we already knew this, because Zelensky went there in person, but it's funny they filmed it in Tavilzhanka instead. General Kuzovkev, the commander of the Western group, who lied saying he captured it was "found dead by his wife." Maybe Putin didn't like being taken for the fool he is.
  24. his press conference would not indicate flood is leaving. but he's not directly talking about it. he mentioned he thought the offense was getting better every game and that he thought it would take time. no indication that the OL was a systemic issue.
  25. Not sure who. I don't remember if is was Bobby or Gerry or some other $9.95er, or a poster here, but i read it early in the process. Time to push all the chips in the pile.
