  1. Today I learned that New York and Beijing are on the exact same latitude. Seems interesting that that exact latitude is also the border of possible landing.
  2. Sold. Might have well come straight from The Lancet.
  3. Did I hear Granny say she got them yellow tops?
  4. This needs all the rep.
  5. Holy shit. That’s 1020 calories, 2358mg sodium, and 82g carbohydrates for you. 740 calories, 1082mg sodium, 79g carbohydrates for her. To start the day. Every morning.
  6. This. Jesus I’m stingy when sober.
  7. I wish you would raise your standards and stop going for the low-hanging fruit.

  10. What lake are you on? We’d probably be carving from shore to shore on my stretch of LBJ with that line. Sounds like a lot of fun though.
  11. Ohh yeah you will. You’ll get billed half an hour just for the PM reply on this site.

  17. I check back in on this thread regularly to make sure this perfect response is getting the rep it deserves.
  18. I don’t think “imo” is necessary for this take. Imo, the new merc interiors look like an incredible place to spend time.
  19. It seems to me that the purpose of a low-range gearset in an traditional IC off-roader is to get max torque from the IC engine at lower axle speeds. The electric motors have a flat powerband, which I’m sure at least partially obviates the need for a low-range gearset. Also, locking diffs serve to apply power to the wheel that has the best traction, albeit in a very simplified way. The independently powered corners of electric cars can torque vector far more intelligently, and I suspect will be far more capable in this regard. Disclaimer: This opinion is uneducated and unsubstantiated by research or facts, as any good online post should be. Same.
  20. Tuesday in May in Lubbock.
  21. How devastated was he when you explained genetics?
  22. I assumed Chitown was was referencing AMG, not Nissan given the S63 discussion. I suspect AMG GT-R would hold its own in your track day lineup.
  23. This post, deserves some rep.
  24. I can’t remember if it’s taboo in CYHMWT to say that your mother did not cringe when she showed up to service my platform last night.
