  1. Oh so it's like a pay us $50 and we'll put your city's name on this list they can use it for college applications thing.
  2. Where does the metro breakoff point happen? They have Dallas including Ft Worth, but San Jose is distinct from San Fran/Oakland and Oakland to San Jose is roughly 10 miles further than Ft Worth to Dallas.
  3. Yeah, it must suck to have to deal with all that extra work and money.
  4. That's probably in 17 different accounts there under your social, so you should be fine.
  5. We need to see a $2B bank fail to see how the whole "FDIC now de facto insures 100%" bit lasts. It certainly seems you are protected to keep as much as you want in any medium to large bank and you're fine.
  6. Carpetbagger couldn't even go to ETBU like a real Texan Christofascist and went to a foreign college instead.
  7. That was a big win over Southend. They aren't a typical National League team and were in League One two years ago.
  8. Why on earth is NE @ LAFC on tonight at 10:30 Eastern the night after a spring forward? This would've been a great 4:30 local Sunday start with a 7:30 start in New England. I just don't get it.
  9. Have tickets to both the CCL and @Houston this week. Time to turn it up!
  10. I sent my brother that message word for word when Atlanta scored #2.
  11. I've read all of the Bill Hodges trilogy and the Outsider liking all four, but I'd rather read something other than another Holly story. ...who am I kidding, I'll read it.
  12. She could win an award for most Connecticut looking woman in Connecticut.
  13. If anyone wants to hit up the borderlands, I feel like now would be the safest time to do it. Nobody is going to do shit to you for a little bit.
  14. Have you tried any Ghost brand protein? It isn't the best protein/calorie and it's expensive, but they taste good especially in milk.
  15. "Listen Frenchie, we kicked your ass in W.W.2 and we'll do it again *hiccup*...."
  16. I deal with 75 year olds regularly in my job and imagining these people with jobs in 2023 is hilarious. No way 70% of them are employable in any way. This isn't to say that they're stupid, but rather the pace of change in the workplace and their lack of technological know how as a generation makes them virtually unemployable by most businesses. Maybe future generations will stay tech savvy as they age and make the point moot.
  17. My Mexican American MIL (no habla ingles) was banging some dude from El Salvador (no tiene papels) and let him stay in their shed in the backyard for a while. I got along great with the dude as we talked about his experience in the military in El Salvador and he made the family papusas a couple times which were great. He told me I was the first white person he'd really talked to in the States as not many of us speak any Spanish and being undocumented he was usually scared of us. Well after he moved on the rest of the family told her she was dumb for allowing a Salvadoran in her house. They do have plenty of love for Mexicans looking to come over either legally or illegally though.
  18. They had a great version of this at the San Antonio Museum of Art a few years back for their San Antonio 1719 exhibit.
  19. I think Utah's has to be soley because BYU is already in the B12. They don't want to admit it might be the better place to be.
  20. Hey man at 5'7, if I get to 159.4lbs that's "overweight". Of course, individual results vary with muscle mass and adding muscle as a manlet is relatively easy (visually anyway). Seeing that calorie count for 6'9 is just amazing by the way. I only burn around 1,400 calories on freaking half marathons.
  21. It's a nice little park that gets busy in the summer. Almost everyone is in a hurry to get to the top though so there's some good empty trails at the bottom of the volcano to stretch your legs for a mile or two before racing on to CO.
  22. Most recent A&M grads that I know (last 10 years or so) can't stand TexAgs and the loons that post on the politics board. Whole lotta 2%ers in CS these days.
  23. What do people that live in places like Des Moines NM do to survive?
  24. Well they think they are which is probably all that matter when there are some many denominations claiming to be the one true faith.
