Haha. We watched the first two episodes last night and my wife made the same comments. I've never seen Homeland.
It's entertaining enough to get us hooked for now. Rhys is doing a great job so far.
She's like the Arch Manning of cray right now. Lotta hype and future expectations, but hasn't quite put it altogether right now for top tier status. Setting up for a promising future run/
Disagree. Every Heisman finalist gets a mulligan for an off game. But Arch had too many bad to meh games to deserve an invite. That doesn't take away from an impressive improvement over the course of the season which sets up nicely for next year if the offensive personnel around him improves even just a bit.
Her, Nancy Mace, and Laura Loomer need to have a pay-per-view Cray Off. In the past I would've added Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert to the competition, but it looks like they are past their crayoff prime.
Question about the aggy corps band, since I really haven't been paying attention the past decade and it's been a long time since they've played in Austin:
Do they still do the same halftime routine -- same tune and same marching formation?
I'm not sold on Newsom. Not because I think he'd substantively be a bad candidate. But because I think the Democratic Party is going to play this next race super safe, to ChiTownDoc's point. I think Newsom might carry too much of the California/lib/woke/socialist perception that MAGA will pounce on, even if Newsom's policies might be more centrist.
And for the same "playing it safe" reason, there's no way a gay man is on the ticket in 2028. Just no way. We'll have a woman -- even a Latino woman -- as a VP candidate before Pete Buttigieg.
